I went ahead and purchased this using your affiliate link. I was also considering buying the Tib Bar Sled Tread. But I opted for this one since Xebex is made in Taiwan (instead of China). Thanks for the review.
Sidney, when you lifted the back end of the deck 10:29 to extend the incline foot it appears one could place a solid step or wood-framed block under it and get that deck level, no?
Yeah, I think you could do that. It would definitely make the sled-pushing (which is already hard) even harder. You most likely wouldn't be able to get up to a jog/run with the deck level though since the incline uses gravity and your weight to get the belt moving more easily.
Looking for excellent quality home gym equipment, no limits on budget but because our property is off grid, they must NOT require electricity! Any suggestions??
You could go with a sled treadmill like the Xebex Trekker. With no limits on your budget though, I would go with a curved, manual treadmill like the AssaultRunner Pro. This treadmill is ideal for most people and a great quality treadmill. The TrueForm Trainer is one to consider if you want to improve your running form. Manual treadmills don't require electricity and are built to last.
