He makes some great points. But alternatively, if Skyrim were under the control of the Stormcloaks, I can see an alliance being formed between the nations of High Rock, Hammerfell and Skyrim. Cyrodiil would likely be divided by this point, as the loss of Skyrim and the recent death of the Emperor may cause many Imperial citizens to be displeased with their current form of government. This chain of events may lead to rebellion against the Elder Council due to evidence of corruption, as one of its own members just hired an assassin to kill Titus Mede II. Ultimately, the Empire would likely be destroyed by the Dominion in the wake of a Second Great War, with only the Alliance being the first line of defence against the Dominion.

Interesting opinion, I agree with him on the geopolitical situation but I don't see why he think Ulfric is a "egomanical warlord" who can't ally with the Empire after the Civil War. I mean he is okey with a ceasfire with the Empire for the time being because of the dragons, I can't see why he would not ally himselfs with the Empire or even more with Hammerfell. But overall he is interesting.

I wonder if the Empire could make a temporary alliance with Hammerfell and fight off the Thalmer? They could use this alliance to win back the rebels on the Nord side who are simply upset due to their religion being taken away from them by showing them there is now another option. They can break the white gold concordat and fight against the thalmor with Hammerfell and they band together with the nords as well to take back both skyrim and hammerfell. I think that would be a great outcome. It would be entertaining as well to have Nords who are used to cold temperaments going to Hammerfell which is known for hot sand and sun beating down on you. And for them to see that Nords aren't the only powerful warriors there are. Nords might be mighty and hardy in their own battle field but when you have a redguard in his own battlefield where he is most at home you will then see just how deadly they can be. Just imagine Redguards and Nords fighting side by side. Shields and swords and war axes, two handed swords and hammers, and dual wielding curved swords CURVED SWORDS! lol Nords would be acting as shields and as batting rams and the red guards would be gliding through the open areas of the battle fields like flowing sand slicing throats and stabbing backs protecting the nords who are helping to protect them. The nords clearing the way for them to move freely. Could you imagine what a deadly combo these two forces would make on a battle field?!

Xelzaz should want the Empire to hold a referendum in each province to see if it WANTS independence or not. Maybe it's a foreign concept in Tamriel, but imposing independence from on high is as tyrannical as denying it. That sort of thing fractures societies and causes wars regarding the matter.
