@Sgro81
@Sgro81 6 лет назад
If you look closely at Xenoblade X beginning, there are mechs fighting in space, like in the cutscene here. Also when there is the explosion you can see a space station shaped exactly like the World tree, and the explosion originates in space, not on earth. I think that what we see in Xenoblade X intro is Klaus experiment going off. And the "flash of light" that aliens report seeing before finding themselves on Mira well.. it must be it as well.

Now that we know that both worlds are made of opposite matters it is also cool to know that the games have so many opposites (an older cast in 1, a younger cast in 2, Klaus being evil in 1, Klaus being good in 2, etc.)
@iviyohane

@@bladerdj3503 I think this could also explain why two versions of the same character can appear in Aionios, because Aionios is still two worlds with two opposite versions of "the truth", and every person existing there is affected by that conflicted duality. Everybody is commenting on the actual Architect plot twist and that's all great, but I'd just like to draw attention to the beginning of this cutscene with Rex, Pyra, and Mythra. That was genuinely one of the most emotional and well done scenes in the series for me. Rex delivers some damn good emotional lines and the fact that the Pyra/Mythra dynamic is swapped, playing with his emotions further really seals the deal. Knowing the context around the cutscene makes it so much more heartfelt. Props to the writer and actors in the scene, because goddamn did that get to me.
@Kaisenik

Throughout the game, I never liked Rex’s voice acting, it just sounded off, especially whenever he screamed someone’s name... but here in this scene, the actor just seems to pull the emotion off just perfectly. The voice of a broken boy who’s not even a full adult yet...

He was terrified and saddened by the implications of the fact that his new creations evolved as just humans once again, so he couldn’t see their goodness then either. "I gathered miniature vessels containing memories of all this planet's former lifeforms..." Interesting way to put it considering KOS-MOS and T-elos are awakened through core crystals.
@ShadowSkyX
@ShadowSkyX 4 года назад
My thought is this was a way some people were able to return if not in form, but their personality, their consciousness within in a different shape. Of course no memories and possible special powers or life span of a blade, but I think especially the Rare blades were people from the other universe or were based on ideal or the architect's preference (as you noted about Te-los and KOS-MOS). I imagined Mythra was his ideal woman: smart - if a bit arrogant due to her position and power as a master blade, observant, sexy, knows when to leave a guy alone, and a bit spicy. Malos being the man that girls/women oogled over, had power...if he demanded it he got the attention if he desired it, and was taken seriously - a man he wished he was.
@SteveRudzinski
@SteveRudzinski 4 года назад
It's possible (based on nothing but a guess) that because of the multiverse being confirmed here that the Blue Planet KOS-MOS is falling towards at the end of Episode 3 is NOT the Earth of their universe, but instead Klaus' Earth. And her soul/memories were reformed thanks to the Core Crystal thing. Especially since it's insinuated she remembers Shion.
@splendoragaming1575
@splendoragaming1575 3 года назад
@@SteveRudzinski Technically Earth disappeared from the universe entirely in Xenosaga, hence coming to be known as Lost Jerusalem. It's merely a theory of mine, of course, but I like to think that Xenblade Chronicles 1 and 2 also ended around the same time as Xenosaga did, and that in addition to creating a new continent with his last action, the architect (Klaus) returned Alrest (Earth) to it's former location, hence 'Lost Jerusalem' reappearing at the end of Xenosaga. This is pure speculation of course, but looking at how advanced the Earth was in Klaus's time, it is not impossible that there were some human colonies away from the earth that could have thrived and grown into the society that we saw in Xenosaga As for Xenoblade Chronicles X, I do not think that that 'Earth' was the same Earth that Klaus was from, but rather a parallel universe. The 'Sumarians' who were alluded to possibly being the ancestors orf these Earthlings that appeared so long ago, though, I believe were castaways that were displaced from Klaus's Earth. In other words, the people of 'Earth' were not descendants of the Sumarians at all, but rather a race that evolved on a parallel version of earth in the same way as the 'Sumarians' had. This is pure speculation but it all fits together nicely.

I like how Zanza and Architect represent Klaus' two sides. Zanza was full of himself and is willing to kill people within the world he created just so he himself can live. Meanwhile, Architect felt remorse for destroying Earth and the universe itself because of the conduit, so he created his universe and life to atone, knowing his end will come soon thanks to Shulk killing Zanza.

Klaus is such an interesting figure in Xenoblades. A man ruined by despair and pain of his original world. Wanting nothing for mankind to evolve and reconnect to itself and the world, thinking that he through the Conduit alone in some blind irrational and unemphatic moment of insanity. A man forced to pay for the sins of not only his own reckless and insane actions, but for the sins of hubris and despair that of mankind by wasting away as two separate entities tasked with reforging the world they destroyed. One spent living an eternal life as an insane and arrogant and all powerful god desperate for emotional connection with others but never getting it back as his creations flee from his own grasp and though his own emotional turmoil build a world that were slaves to him, and another a slowly rotting corpse of a creator forced to live with the haunting realization that he screwed the world and in desperation sought to fix his mistakes and build anew that is more logically planned out only to realize that mankind still followed the same path as he did forcing him to self-loath and give into despair and become reclusive as he watched the world cave into entropy. It was only thanks to Shulk and friends and Rex and friends did both halves finally served their purpose and were finally brought to peace they so needed. It is through them that finally mankind was able to overcome their past sins and begin the long haul to finally mature and achieve their next state in evolution. It's the same long haul that now Noah and Mio and friends continue in their game. To finally give a chance for mankind to step out of the dark and finally become a potentially wiser, more mature species. One that is more empathetic and reasonable and understanding of not only itself but to each other and other beings, and one that is hopeful. Able to handle stuff like the conduit.

At the end of it all, I can really feel for Klaus. It was his own fault to what happened, his desire for knowledge, to go beyond where humanity was never supposed to be. And then also being pressured by the invaders. He got what he wanted, and in the end, he regretted everything. Forcing himself to stay alive for Millenia, watching how the world formed anew in the lonely silence of what once was Elysium. He got a taste what it meant to be a god, creating and then leaving the world to itself, ever evolving and changing. And during that time, he might have always seen what happened on the other side, how life formed on Bionis and Mechonis. Despite him being so calm all the time, I cannot imagine how brutal it must have felt when Zanza struck Meyneth down... It made me think what could have transpired had Zanza and Klaus one final conversation before both vanished from existence. ...I am going to put that on paper right now... Granted I did not really like Xenoblade 2 for Tropes, Gacha and the gameplay explanations having been all over the place for me. I felt a bit like it had an identity crisis before the story really picked up the pace. Buuuuut now that I have played through the story of the first one again and currently leveling in Future Connected, I not only began to appreciate the gameplay of 2 thanks to some very good tutorials online, but my opinion on the Gacha pretty much went down the drain when I saw someone play through the game with mostly a common blade. Once I am done with that, I'll finish Torna first and then give 2 another try.

A fucking moron who wants to destroy everything "cause why not". Thanks to this we finally learn his reasons. Basically the Zanza of the first game's world is just an empty shell unable to feel emotions, and his part that can feel them is in the world of the second game. 8:14 ... So... this pretty much confirms Xenosaga and Xenoblade are linked then, because there's no way that's not the Zohar right there. Which means, when the Zohar phase shifts away in Xenosaga 3, that is where is goes, to Klaus' original universe. Now if only I could find some way to get Xenogears in to some of this action, that would be the best orgy ever...

Hahaha😁, now that orgy stuff kinda got my curiosity piqued....seriously though, if you read the timelines of the previous xeno series games, you'll see that Klaus experiment on the conduit or Zohar already parallels much of the backstory of the previous Xeno games. In the Gears and Saga timelines, there was also a scientist who experimented on the Zohar to ascend humanity to a higher plane of existence, when it was first discovered or appeared on earth in the era of 20XX, also about the same time as Klaus's experiment. The scientists were not specifically named Klaus, but the similarities are there just the same. And in both timelines the experiment failed, with the earth being destroyed in the Gears timeline, I think. While in Saga, earth disappeared to a differently dimension entirely. This is where the Xenoblade timeline deviates from the older games. Since Klaus was successful, or partially successful with the Zohar experiment, and was able to ascend ( not with humanity though, and just with galea) to a higher plane and create the universe of XC1 becoming a God. And just partially, since we see in XC2 that only half of him ascended, and left his other half, his mortal form and much of his humanity behind, along with destroying his old world ( just like what happened to earth in older xenogames) the difference here though is instead of just one planet, a whole universe was destroyed ( but not gone). Because of guilt and to seek redemption, his mortal half, since he still ages, and the only reason he lived for so long is because of the connection between him and his God half, and his contact with the Zohar, made the XC2 universe to atone for his massive blunder.

@@rafaynoman1180 Hoo boy. I will not retell the whole story of Xenogears, because it's not important. Anyway, in that game, you eventually learn that, more then ten thousand years prior to the games plot, humanity created a infinitely poweful engine called the Zohar. The engine was so powerful it dragged something called the "Wave Existence" from it's plane of, well, existance to power itself. This being is something akin to God (or is it?). Overall the whole thing (and how similar the Zohar and the Conduit look) makes it likely that the later was also powered by the same being.

Klaus states, "Perhaps I will be able to face you again... Galea..." Face her, as though he was too ashamed to face her before. He knows that he will be gone soon, so I think it's safe to assume that he's talking about the afterlife. He's been remorseful this whole time, trying to atone for the destruction of the world. When Rex thanks The Architect for giving them all life, he seems to have a glimmer of hope. There is this realization that he may have redeemed himself, and that if there is an afterlife, he may be able to face Galea once again.

I think Klaus purposely left his body in the state it's in as a form of repentance. Zanza reformed his body immediately, using the ether generated from his creations, and when he saw a similar being before him, attempted to kill her and her creations. Alvis is part of the *Trinity* Processor, alongside the violent Malos and the simpleton Mythra - or rather Logos and Pneuma respectively.

7:18 , “a struggle for survival, that dwarfed this current predicament” I could see this former world at war that Klaus mentions as part of the plot for xenoblade 3, I don’t know how I would feel about this story though, I would really prefer a true continuation to xenoblade 1, with an even bigger enemy rather than a prequel… luckily, there seems to be a bigger threat than even Zanza or Malos that could be a villain for xenoblade 3 that Xenoblade 2’s story is setting up… 10:39, “retribution from on high, for the sin I have committed” The story itself sees this “on high” concept as important as Rex acknowledges it for a bit before Klaus changes the subject. Could this “on high” being be responsible for the Conduit’s existence or is it an even worse power? Klaus could just be metaphoric in his speech but in storytelling, nothing should be coincidental, every line should be important to the plot and this line Klaus says could be a foreshadowing of a future antagonist, perhaps Shulk has to deal with this new threat in xenoblade 3, a thing far more powerful than Zanza or Malos, with a goal that could potentially have started before Xenoblade 1, on former earth, which that goal would have been what caused the war Klaus mentions briefly. Thoughts on this? Do you agree? Disagree? Do you have your own predictions?

So does this mean half of Galea is in some other dimension? Klaus and Zanza exist as a pair, I assume Mayneth's presence in Xenoblade 1 means Galea is still alive somewhere too. Or at least until Mayneth was killed by Zanza.

Probably, I mean, if Klaus has a half of Zanza that exists as a god in Xenoblade 1, Galea has one too as Meyneth, so she may exist as one in a another dimension as it's own Architect. But we'll have to wait for a future Xenoblade game to get the answers.

There’s a part before this scene where you face a monster called infernal guldo. You get an ID card from a human that it used to be. The ID card is the same one that galea has in the cut scenes showing flashbacks, when she’s still human. Some say it’s just a reused texture though.
