Not only did Rex take the title of Sword Fucker as a Badge of Honor, He's now a TRIPLE SWORD FUCKER! XD Regardless, best ending, now all the fans can be happy, all the major ships are cannon now.
@@Jack-ji8kr Nah, man. Harems are for non-commital wusses. Mutual polyamory is for the strong champions. And Rex, Pyra, Mythra and Nia are all champions.
@@hedgehoundableIssei over here crying blood. Not that I care, he can burn in holy light for all he’s worth (if you know Highschool DxD then you know why I said “holy light”)
While showcasing the place where he saved her from her and her half-mom's suicidal mindset. That he would protect both of them, but that they also had to want to live.
What kills me about the harem thing is that it was on the table since the very first game. There's a special item in XB with a description that reads "allows one to engage in polygamy." It's called a Tirkin Elder Medal for those who are curious.
a fun fact, we are sure that rex had 3 kids, one is glimmer as we saw her here, the second is mio which was the main cast of XC3, meaning we still have one left who is mitra's child !
Let's not forget that Rex is not only Glimmer's Father, but also Matthew Great-Great-Grandad. I'm suprised they never made a reference to that little known fact. Too bad there was also no interaction between Rex & M.
It’s one thing the whole fanbase is calling him daddy, but I didn’t expect the entire cast of the last game and this one to literally call him that as well.
I mean the evidence was there loooong ago. If you beat 2, you get 2 special menu screens. They both start with Rex holding hands with Pyra and Mythra. In one version, Rex and Pyra invite Nia to join them and she joins the hand holding with them. In the other version, Nia pounces on Rex and pushes him out of the hand holding. She then takes his place and he’s just smiling at them.
I'm so proud of you, Rex. You've proven me so right far beyond what I could've imagined... Thank you for seeking out your full potential even when it seemed hopeless. Thank you for being your best self even when no one else believed in you. They called you dense and spineless, but in reality, you had a goal no one else but you could've possibly understood, and achieved it with absolute elegance and audacity. Thank you, Rex. Your journey from shota to chad was one I'm proud to have seen through until the bitter end.
Rex: I'd walk through hell and high water and gladly. Also Rex: *offers himself without hesitation and a smile on his face to stabilize the world for the sake of his children and wives* Actual king shit right there.
King Consort, specifically, but still with considerable influence and the biggest paramilitary (mercenaries) in all of Alrest at his disposal. But I just love how the glowup of Rex is Takahashi's biggest middle finger towards every NTR doujin artists.
Why is Melia poor? She's a beloved queen with thousands of loyal followers, dozens of close friends, and a sister who all love and support her unconditionally. She's basically living the dream life. Are you insinuating that Melia is a pathetic character who can't be happy unless she gets to date a boy she liked for a few weeks as an adolescent? Because that's a huge insult to her character.
Hey… if Pyra/Mythra’s initial motivation for reaching Elysium in Xenoblade 2 was to kill themselves… Is what Rex says in the first scene some kind of way to reassure Glimmer not to kill herself?
Had a friend point out that the reason Rex was so harsh on Glimmer after the double Feronis boss fight is probably because her going on about how she wanted to have her Homecoming hit a nerve for him, considering her mother's original motivation for going to Elysium.
@@Andyjoe522 Never thought of that. And she exists at all, because both her mother and half-mom realized they wanted to live rather than die for some nebulous guilt-ridden idea of the world's safety. Helped them realize that they were indeed wanted, not as the Aegis, but as Pyra and Mythra. Not just by Rex and Nia, but Dromarch, Tora, Poppi, Morag, Brighid, Zeke, Pandoria, and Gramps. So it strikes a nerve to not only see his daughter with Pyra want to effectively go to her death, but actually eagerly want to do so as if it was a positively good thing. Glad he still apologized for blowing up at her, but it adds another yet another layer to where his fury is coming from.
The signs were all there in Xenoblade 2. - Rex learning about relying on more than 1 blade in battle - Rex willing to make all the people he cares about happy - Rex accepting the full power of Pneuma(by accepting Pyra & Mythra) - Nia showing affection towards all 3 of her partners in separate occasions - the ending title screen - & or course everything in this video.
Nintendo: Very good, Monolith Soft. For many years you have been an indispensable pillar for our company, you were a great help in the success of the latest installments of Zelda, Animal Crossing and Splatoon, so we have decided that you can do whatever you want in your next project. Monolith soft: ...whatever I want?
I guess to make this even more awkward, it's been established when a Driver wields a Blade's weapon, that Driver gains a boost in strength and stamina. It could be fair to say that Rex's bond with Mythra, Pyra and Nia is so strong that he could passively tap into the strength of all three women whenever he wants. Wait, if that's the case, then it explains why he hits really hard in FR. And I guess why Mio can strike hard.
All his kids are the same age…that means he had to sleep with all 3 women at the same time or at least a few hours or a day apart from each other. They didn’t give this man a break.
The scene where he talks to Glimmer about Pneuma…about what happened at the cliffs of Morythra…when I saw that place for the first time I instantly had a feeling that this looked similar to there. But when he told her his piece…I was so emotional. This right there is my favorite scene in Future Redeemed~
My guess is that he will be a major character in Xenoblade 4. Some people actually believe that Mythra's child is Consul D (Dirk). But I think that's stupid. If the child has to be a character from Xenoblade 3, I think Isurd makes way more sense.
@KevDu Hmm, true. I actually originally thought he had blonde hair but the wiki says it's brown for some reason. Another reason I thought it could be him is because his weapons fire rings of light. But your points do make it less likely for me now.
@@MegaMilesprower @Radiant Wolf - Look at Noah's glove at the ending cutscene. "Deactivated" might not be the right term, but they weren't 'active', but installed into Noah's glove in their 'complete' state as the Core Pneuma.
rex watching pyra/mythra try to die for him and not having it, cut to one gigachad amount of time later and he gotta deal with his daughter being caught up in the hype of "homecoming" which he knows is just a murder cycle too, looking forward to death really carries in the family
He is true gigachado cuz he can handle three wives. Well.... One of those three, which nia are always throw tantrum, perhaps but he still can handle them
@@mirzapramudya1580 Or are also totally in love with each other (well, mostly, the Pyra/Mythra thing is a bit of a complication as they're KINDA the same person)
So rex actually nailed 3 girls. Damn Rex, you're pretty ballsy (no inuendo intended btw) to do it the rough way (AGAIN NO INUENDO INTENDED) instead of R34ing the whole thing.
3 daughters, only one confirmed, mio is implied, yet mythra's is missing. Maybe Xenoblade 4 (monolith has stated it will be made in due time, maybe meyneth's/galia other half is out there.)
Can't wait for when we get Xenoblade Chronicles: The Trinity Processor Collection that has all 3 games and their side stories all on one disc/cartridge and we get a new side tie-in mini game called "Rex Pays for Child Support"
@@elinacarmina3050shouldn't she have Nia's personality. Glimmer has mythra and Mio has pyra's so by process of elimination we kind of have one option unless she takes after her father
I don't think blades or living titans were recreated. Judging by the fact that every Agnian has a core crystal it's probably safe to say they were incorporated into Agnian biology. Now that I think of it though how the hell does the XC timeline even work? Rex, Shulk, Panacea, and Linka are stated to not be pod clones like everybody else, but legit transmigrants from the original worlds like Nia and Melia. But unlike Nia (flesh eater) and Melia (half high entia) they don't have that kind of lifespan. We know for sure they don't because Linka and Panacea are 18 and 19 respectively, but Aionios has been demonstrably chugging along for far longer than that as of FR because of the multitude of Noah and Mio lives to all almost come to completion before they become N and M, and then there's grandpa Ghondor. So like was Origin keeping them in storage until it shat out Alpha or something?
@@ignisdark no it's not JUST a perv show. It's a perv show with really interesting worldbuilding and badass designs. DxD could've been a great Shonen anime if it was less explicit.
Back then everyone thought it was a cop Out and Rex×Nia sunk Only for 3 to show us Rex has infinitely more game than your average dude the guy went from a smol boy to A swol Boy
A lot of offbrand doujins made fun of the idea of Rex getting with all of them, but little did we know that the degenerates, who should be put in solitary horney jail, were right all along! Rex with no girls: No muscle, little innocent boy. Rex with three wives and three kids: ALL the muscle, and a grizzled veteran!
To be fair, this whole dlc is really only aimed at people who’ve played all three games. So did they really have to explain exactly what he said and to whom he said it to? Not really. Because we all already know who Rex was talking about. Same with Shulk. They didn’t have to name Dunban or Fiora, Sharla or Reyn. Because we already know.
To be fair, there's no need to bog down the script with so much detail like that. This is Matthew's story, we don't need Shulk and Rex overshadowing it. Besides, if you've been following the franchise up to this point, you know.
@@neliros im saying they couldve done more than just “name” people and emptily reference older entries. they shouldve done stuff to complicate themselves as characters and relationships etc. the “father/child” convos we get once in the game are so devoid of any substance its like why did we even bother
Surprised all 3 of them went along with it. Pyra was probably fine with it from the start, but Nia and Mythra? How violently do you think that went down?
A little by of context, what I mean is that Miyamoto said when he created the two heavens as one (miten ichiryu his sword style with 2 Blades) that a person needs to be able to control both of his horizons, meaning being ambidextrous and using two swords because it is more efficient, it his case it is more efficient indeed three wives means three times more descendants
[Spoiler] [World split] The world was split in Two : Bionis (XC1) and Alrest (XC2) by Klaus. XC1 and XC2 probably happened simultaneously. Rex had a kid with Pyra (Glimmer), with Nia (Mio, XC3) and Mythra (???). Characters : Bionis : Shulk (XC1, XC3 FR), Melias (XC2, XC3), Noah (XC3). Alrest : Rex (XC2, XC3 FR), Pyra (XC2), Nia (XC2, XC3), Mio (XC3) [World started to merge back] They, the world started to merge back, and the merge will destroy them all. To avoid killing everything, the two worlds (Nia and Melia) created the Ark (and Origin) to store the knowledge, and the SOULS of everyone. => The original Shulk, Nia … are stored in the Origin so they don’t age at all => Mio’s soul, Noah’s soul … everything is there [Creation of a new world] When the two world were frozen in time by Z, the start of the fusion created the world of Aionios (XC3). To keep the “frozen status”, we need life energy. To do that, souls are reborn at age 10, without any previous lives’ memory, and trained as soldiers, to die in combat. => If they die by natural cause, their energy can’t be extracted so they can’t be reborn. => To avoid that, at the end of their 10th term (so 10 years old when born + 10 term = 20 years old) there is a Homecoming Ceremony to kill them in a “pretty” way. [To conclude] => The Glimmer we control is XC3 is not the original Glimmer. It’s just one of many incarnation of her (while her souls is stored in the Origin). She doesn’t have any memory of her past life ;)
Nia is alive just not present in the dlc, (she became the queen of Agnus), Mythra and Pyra is unclear but Matthew had her core so possibly they're out there somewhere.
@@yomama4759 yeah the dlc is about tying up the loose ends, since Nia was present in the base game she didn't need to make an appearance (tho I would've personally loved to see rex and his 3 wives all together)
