This boss was one of the rare times I didn't mind beating a boss on Casual Mode. The fact you can't go beside Egil to use specific arts and the fact my RNG was terrible, constantly getting swarmed by those giant dumb Beatle looking Mechons. Only other time I beat a boss using Casual Play was against Gadolt because I couldn't backtrack to farm XP and he was constantly one shotting my entire team. This boss sucked.
yeah i thought gadolt was bad, but this is just insane. i managed to finally beat gadolt using break topple and daze but for yaldaboath i think im going to do casual just because i am really into the story right now
@@FizzikkOfficial You can actually just avoid Gadolt's Laser Bullet attack by running to the ramp that you enter the arena from and at least you will survive
Honestly Gadolt is a very poorly designed boss fight. No reason for a boss to be doing entire health bars in a single attack, that’s just frustrating not challenging.
To the surprise of many, this fight has an exclusive theme that needs to follow some steps to be heard: 1. Close Xenoblade 2. Open Persona 5 3. Fight the final boss 4. Pay attention to its name and music 5. Reopen Xenoblade 6. Kill Yaldabaoth.. again (for all intents and purposes, this is a joke)
@@FizzikkOfficial I know this is a 6 month old comment. I had just beaten him at level 68. I was so tired after beating him. Replayed like 15 times (that took 2 hours not including changing up equipment and team comp)
@@pokefanxerneas5800 I had to change it to casual mode to beat him lol. The thing that was killing me was the 4 bots dropping when the countdown starts. I literally couldnt move lol. I am pretty sure my team was Shulk dunban and riki. The worst part about this is that they respawned. You would kill them and be like okay let me get break this here and they spawn again.
@@Sbuv I was on level 69 then I leveled up in mid fight to level 70. I was trying to take advantage of him summoning mechons just in case I couldn't beat him on my current level but I managed to beat him.
@@Sbuv there are gems in the game, using them will make u stronger, same with the equipment, they probably used different ones from u and that's why it was easy
U can ignore this reply if you had beaten this game. Some help and advice for you. (My advice may not be the best, it may not work for you.) (U can ask for skill tree build if you hadnt beat this boss yet) I played this game for about two or three weeks. Just beaten this boss without going casual mode (on the verge to do it) Characters used: Shulk (L), Dunban and Riki. Shulk and Dunban were 67 close to 68. Became level 68 after the Bionis strike. Won by spamming Buster at his minions. And whack the shit out of the boss when there is no minions while keeping my health high via my own light heal or Riki's healing. Learnt something here. 1.The energy core needed to be destroyed for the Bionis strike. There is no need to stay till it is destroyed. When u hit until its health is not going down, u may proceed to the next one. Saved a lot of time for keeping a good distance from u and the minions while u are destroying them. 2. Use buster as much as possible. It is the best Monado skill for this boss. It deals a shit ton of damage and stacks your blue meter faster for chain attacks. 3. Related to no. 2, use chain attacks when u are in danger of a minion killing u/teammates. This helps you a lot as the minions can't hit you while u do so. Also, go for damage (red skills) over break topple daze combo on minions. I killed/dealt a lot of damage to the level 70 spiderbots at level 68 easily when using 3 red skills. 4. Try to stay closer to the boss but not in front of him when minions are summoned. His minions have skills that slow u significantly. If u are too far from him, another 2 minions will summoned again. So keep a close distance from the boss about 45 degrees from him but not IN FRONT OF HIM. U are asking to be swarmed by minions and him. 5. Give Shulk agility. Saved my ass many times. Dunban wisdom skill tree. The one that increases agility without armor. This makes Dunban quite unkillable during the fight. He is my MVP. He revived me and saved from topple effects. 6. Try to keep your health at least 3k/4k (if u wanna be safer). This is because the boss has skills that do high AOE damage. This prevents you from dying when u dont have a bar. Lost many times due to this. That is all for what I have learnt and I hoped I had some people who is underleveled like me and cannot grind. Don't give up. Don't miss this masterpiece.
hey im really struggling with this fight and i havent seen anything useful online for help.. what was your set up with fiora? ive been using shulk dunban and rhiki and whenever he starts attacking the bionis he literally just drops 4 huge enemies on me even if i beat them right before he starts attacking the bionis
If you hadn't beat him, I had some advice to tell you. If you did (which I feel highly likely you did), just ignore this message. Played this game for about two or three weeks. A website I used on reccomending which characters to use in boss battles said Dunban and Sharla for this one. However, It's pretty much the only one I ignored and went with Reyn and Riki instead but it's still difficult and I can't win on the first try no matter how many times I play.
I know i played the whole game on casual, and didn't have thaat many dificulties, but this fight.... this fight i struggled a bit, but managed to do it first try. I know playing on casual, may be a bad thing for some people, but i just wanted a taste of the lore and the game, some day i'll come back and do it on normal mode or even on expert
I really need help defeating it. I’m lvl 67 and I can’t lvl up anymore cuz it won’t let me do side quests while in this quest , I’m even on casual mode and trying every party possible but WTF
