Hey everyone I'm an Artist that loves music and I'm also a Baby ALPHAZ...for now lol. For today's video we'll be watching XG Documentary Series 'XTRA XTRA' EP X7 for my BABY ALPHAZ REACTS series. So when I tell you I cried I mean I CRIEDT^T I couldn't stop myself lol this episode really pushed the respect I have for these girls even further which I didn't think was possible. XG💗 Have seen it said, and I personally believe it. One of the reasons why AIRI was 'let go', was because the other members were relying on her too much. They (XGALX), needed the other members to be 'stronger'. She is doing solo work on her own now, under her name KAIMYA. XGALX actually planned on working with her to debut as a solo artist, but the time line was too long. Their priority was XG, and wanted them established first, before working with AIRI. AIRI thought it was to long of time before things would happen for her, so she went out on her own, before she got to old.

Also, that/this is why Hesonoo is such a pre-performance ritual for them, because I believe they are showing respect for AIRI mentioning that word.

Ooof I can see why her concerns led her to take a different route. It is unfortunate that she parted ways, but I hope to look into her music now that I know she did debut. I hope she's happy😌 I love their pre-performance ritual! I always thought it was super unique, but knowing these details from their history makes it all the more special🥹 Thank you for your insight! I’m older 🙆🏻‍♀️🐺😢 and I still cry 😭 over what the journey has been for each member and Simon. I really love 🤍 this Xpop Group. I’ll be supporting and watching every performance, song and choreography that is released. Definitely 👍🏽 “HESONO O” #xg. I am so proud of each member and XGALX Production Team. I loved watching it with you dear baby Alphaz, I appreciate your consistency. Sending you love, encouragement and positivity. 🤍🐺🤍 The one Japanese dancer and choreographer actually interviewed AIRI chan during the later releases of this Documentary Series. I’ll look up his name…it’s been awhile since I watched him do a reaction. He has created his own choreography’s to some of XG’s music. I watched a few of her original songs to I believe she goes by KAMIYA? Hope that helps. 👋🏽🤍🐺

Aha I don't think age is important when it comes to such touching matters. I think these girls have the power to touch anyone's heart☺️ I'm also so very proud of all of them for all their dedication, hard work, and bravery to believe in themselves and their dreams so fiercely. You should definitely check Kamiya (Airi). I love her song CBD ❤. She's not in xgalx anymore since she dropped out. There's an interview with her where she talks about her journey and her side of the story (in Arata-san channel/there's an english translation available too).

Can I just say that I’m grateful that you’ve been consistent with these reactions. So many people have started this series but have stopped at like episode 4 lol (I get it, it’s a lot time wise and emotionally) but I’m glad that you’ve stuck with the journey ❤.

Airi was the third person on the white board. As others have mentioned, she did debut and ALPHAZ are waiting for a collaboration 😊. They didn't mention how Airi became the leader, but as you saw she was born to be a leader. She is also older than Chisa.

One thing Ari said that stuck with me when she was talking with the girls is she said “you’re dreams are now my dreams” I was like damn this girl is wise beyond her years. I’m also pretty sure when this episode released Ari’s insta grew tremendously

It really does! It feels like they're paying respect to the part she played in their journey and keeping the promise they made to walk together....when she said "Your dreams are now my dream" I died😭😭😭 I'm so touched seeing you and other come back each week to watch with me! I just realized they didn't show Jurin's reaction about Kamiya's being dropped. I feel like she was the one who asked questions "Why?". They have been together since their modelling days (Juriin, Harvey and Airi).

Simon Jakops was in KPOP group DMTN (Dalmation) so he knows what it's like and tips/methods. Not to mention he's got connections. XG couldn't have gotten a better Coach, Producer, or CEO.

He was destined to be there for them! I can't help but feel the 8 of them were made for eachother. Like yes Simon has been a great guide and mentor for them but he also learned so much from each of the members🤧

Their message has always been empowerment, confidence and love. Them being XG is powerful enough - but seeing their growth through Xtra Xtra and seeing a glimpse of their journey is amazing. Seeing this episode again for the nth is still heartbreaking. Cocona might be a badass but when I saw her crying on this episode it's just too much. All of them crying when Simon announced that AIRI won't debut with them devastated me. 💔 AIRI has given them so much to grow upon - it's especially heartbreaking to Jurin and Amy who knows her way before XGALX Audition (they've been modeling together and doing cameos on JPOP MV's prior) AIRI coined the term Hesonoo (their War Cry - before doing any performance)

Its a string message ypu can feel it radiates off of them! Completely valid it hit me so hard😭 One of them started crying and it felt like they opened the flood gates. I tried keeping it together but when Cocona and Maya started crying, it broke me💔 Knowing what I know now the way they pay tribute to all they learned from Airi is so touching. They keep their promise to walk with her every time they gather before a stage it's the things you see in films🤧

Then Jurin cried tears of joy because of the overwhelming emotions - it might've been a flash flood of memories for her. These girls deserve everything and more. I'm shocked they didn't go into Harvey's extensive modeling history. That or mention her love of Unicorns, Snakes, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Chucky, etc. Even her Australian side and her family. Like why she doesn't have an Aussie accent and what are her fave things about AUS. It would have been interesting.

I agree! I heard that she used to be able to speak English when she was very young but she kinda lost it as she grew up I guess that’s why she doesn’t have any Aussie accent

This documentary is so raw! But so good! We actually see the reality of being in the business. It’s good that you have the tissues ready like I told you. My bias was Juria but I too took notice of Hinata after watching the documentary and now I changed my mind She’s precious and needs to be protected at all costs

It's so good! It shows a lot of hard truths that I think many of us try to ignore, but seeing it really makes you appreciate them that much more. No truly good advice lol I've been teary eyed for other episodes, but this one broke me🥲 Ahhh isn't she so precious! I've got so much love for all of them now. Maya and Cocona remain my biases, but I have to add Hinata now! She's 100% a star but I have a big soft spot for the softies🥹💕

As for Cocona's personnality there are two examples I found that best discribe her ''lonely'' and ''abrasive'' traits. In Xtra XG #25 you can see her tucking herself in a corner to isolate herself from the members. As Jurin puts it, this is ''Cocona in her natural environment''. In Xtra XG #28, before going on stage Cocona, Juria and Harvey film a short segment together about the excitement of performing. Juria and Harvey go off on a total tangent, talking about rainbows and stuff, totally in their imaginary world. At the end Cocona says that she never wants to film a segment again with these two. Both times, everybody laughs it off as Coco being Coco, but when you're young, don't know each other very well and are still finding yourself, that kind of attitude can be unintentionally hurtful to others, and that's the adjustment that Cocona had to make herself to get along with the others

Ahahaha okay I know that those seem like abrasive traits when you're young and figuring it out, but it also feels so funny to me😅 I would normally say she's got cat energy but I feel inclined to say lone wolf everygy instead lol Connecting with others can be difficult, but knowing she took it upon herself to adjust the way she treats her fellow members so that they don't feel hurt by her is very mature. Even so I admire that she's done it in such a way that she's still very much herself rather than trying to change all together😌

Oooo😯 I didn't realize that's how Airi became leader initially. I guess Simon also realized they needed more structure for the team dynamic and I think he worried Jurin wouldn't meet her potential otherwise🤔 just a thought of course lol Excited to looking into Airi's journey post XG project after the series!

Im not comprehending this whole Airi being a solo artist..if Simon felt that way, why is she not a solo artist under XGALX? Or is she? Lol...Hikaru and Rei revisited XG a couple episodes ago..Airi never visited? Somethings up and i dont like it at all lol. See you next episode 😉

Lol it's all a bit confusing, but from what I gathered from other people in the comments is that she stayed with AVEX (I think) for a while but decided to leave because the focus was on XG amd she wouldn't debut for a long time. Nevertheless, I would love to see them come together again for a collaboration💕

My theory as to why Airi was let go, and this is total conjecture, is that she was too strong of a leader. We saw Simon tell Jurin several times that the reason she wasn't reaching her full potential was psychological and that she was hiding another Jurin inside her. Jurin is a born-leader and was never gonna fully develop with someone else being leader. Same thing for the other members. Chisa becoming unnie and everybody else having to step up and take on more responsibilities, which forged them into the artists they are today. I'm not sure Simon and XGALX were even aware of this power dynamics, but in the end it was the best move to get XG to the level they are today

I can see what you mean! I don't feel the series focused too heavily on their dynamic as a group until the later episodes so I didn't notice the power dynamics myself until then. I remember the comments about Juin holding back and I found them really interesting! She may still be a lot of those things struggling with a perfectionist mentality but, but making her leader and forcing her to step up I think really pushed her to grown into herself. I can see the same following for the other members. Seeing Chisa mourn the loss of Airi, but immediately take responsibility as the oldest to care for the members and have Jurins back was hard to watch, but also very beautiful. With the way the series was put together this episode felt in a way like the climax of the first book in their story leading to debut. It really pushed them to evolve into who they are just like you said😤

He used that poor girl to to propel the others is crazy… at least that is how that felt watching. And it felt really bad to see the leader of the group get kicked off for 0 reason but character development. If any of the other girls would’ve been the best’airi’ they wouldn’t be there right now. Crazy thing to think about.

Honestly, I think Simon told a half truth in this episode regarding the reason why she was cut. Her being cut probably had more to do with skills but she was still good enough to be a solo artist. Im not trying to imply she isn’t talented but the group didn’t need another rapper and the other rappers had qualities that made them more crucial to the group (like Maya’s English or Cocona’s tone for example) so her being talented made her a good candidate but the others just won out in the end. I think the fact that the other girls were so attached to her probably made Simon hesitant to cut her along with the other two so therefore he decided to let her stay as a way to gauge how the final group would feel and he didn’t like the end result so she was cut. I personally feel like Simon should have trusted his instinct from the get-go instead of dragging her along for another year ultimately hurting everyone even more which is what he wanted to avoid.

Hmm it's hard for me to say completely🤔 but I can see why that's a plausible theory. I don't think it was ever his intention to string her along like that, but alas here we are. I think the decision did just as you said though and really catapult the finals members of the group into overdrive.
