Xherdan Shaqiri’s last minute winner for Switzerland against Serbia puts them on 4 points, ahead of Serbia for the race to qualify out of group E! Can they do it?
@@KingKing-cz6xh you are George Bush's and Hillary Clinton's toughest soldier. For sure Serbia felt like massacring their Southern most region just for fun, because that's how you govern a country.
yea normally always at our german friends hwo Always have support us through history and we have something more in Common with our German Brother :Hate for Serbia and Russia . Albanians and Germans 2 Nations of Pure european Blood
Nah not really, its the only one you have contact with. The proudest Albanians live in Kosovo. And well the main reason Xhaka is in Switzerland is because his father was arrested by the Serbian regime and was forced to flee.
@NYtwoK LOL... if he was born in Kosovo, Serbia, Yugoslavia before 1999 probably yes. But I think Shaqiri was born in Switzerland, of Albanian parents originating from Kosovo, so at most he is a Swiss with Albanian heritage. It is not that he is of Slavic origin say from Bosnia that we could consider a Serb; he has Albanian DNA; Albanians are not of Slavic roots whether born in Serbia/Yugoslavia or elsewhere. Plus, Kosovo is now (from 1999) an independent country, a NATO protectorate until recognized by Serbia.
@@HK-pp9igKosovo isn't a country until Russia and China recognise it as they have veto power And they wont ever recognise it so at most it's in permenant limbo
This is sometimes the ridiculous thing about European national teams. Many of their players choose a national team, Switzerland in this case, because it offers more opportunities to compete at international level. But how nice it would be if people like Shaqiri or Xhaka, who clearly identify with Albania, had decided to play for the country they truly love. Just like half of the French players who love the countries of their parents more.
he is already a rich guy who has millions of dollars. If he wants he can easily make himself taller by paying and taking the surgery (maybe after his football career). But you'll still be a loser lol.@@user-fo5wf3os1n
I found it disrespectful to represent another country after scoring the winning goal. Then play for your country and be their key player if you are that proud.
It’s complicated in Switzerland, it’s about love for both Switzerland and Kosovo its not about representation one or the other but being true to your identity ass a jugo swiss
@@Lgx-ie4if It's disrespectful anyway. Xhaka's brother plays for Albania. You love your country so much, play for it. Don't bring that country's politics into games for your adopted country.
@@tgb-vf4es did you know the russian and serbs public say all of the game bad words to the albanians? Did you know the serbs took xhakas father in prison and tradet in jail in the 90is before the war was? Thats why they selabrate with the eagle all emotians. Sorry for my english.
@@hamzahazmi4505They r showing Albanian sign, then why wouldn't they just play in Albanian team... They r winning bcauz they r in Switzerland team... If they r so "patriotic " they could've shown it with Albania
So? We just got an actual qualified manager in 2023, and he’s gonna be here for the Euros. You cant just silence someone because their country hasn’t participated in the World Cup. That’s like saying Jairzinho suck because Messi has more ballon dors. Albania didn’t even have the chance because it’s entire history of football managers almost all of them sucked. Jairzinho didn’t even have the chance to get a ballondor because FIFA sucked at that time. Also, he’s from Kosovo, which also has the same thing with Albania.
What I find hilariously funny, is that the symbol Albanians 🇦🇱 do is a double headed eagle which belonged to the Byzantine orthodox family of George Kastriotis. This noble war hero fought against Islamic Muslim terror. The Albanians today are mostly Muslim yet they have this symbol on their flag. The irony is hilarious.
It's kastrioti not kastriotis u 🤡. Second they were originally catholic as a family then converted to orthodox then Skanderbeg himself converted back to catholicism
FIRST OF ALL AM NEUTRAL AM NOT FAN OF SERBIA NEATHER ALBANIA. BUT I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY THIS GUY WAS FINED FOR SHOWING ALBIANIN SIGN. ITS NOT OFFENSIVE TO ANYONE ITS THEIR NATIONAL SIGN,THEIR CULTURE AND HERITAGE .. ITS ONLY OFFENSIVE FOR THE SERBIANS AND ITS OFFENSIVE FOR THEM ONLY BECAUSE THEY HATE ALBIANIA... NO OTHER REASON. ITS LIKE AM MUSLIM AND I GOT OFFENDET BY NEYMAR FOR CROSSING HIMSELF AND HE GOT FINED FOR THAT. NO LOGIC AT ALL
First of all, that's the sign of Kosovar independence, which is a very controversial political issues, with many countries still not recognizing Kosovo. It's also an uncalled for political interference in football. It's also disrespectful for Switzerland, since it has nothing to do with Kosovo or Albania. If they love Kosovo or Albania so much, then play for those countries (Xhaka's brother does). But they are just money-hungry whores who don't have the guts to play for their countries, but love to pretend they care about them. Imagine Albania or Kosovo (they can play for both) with Xhaka and Shaqiri. Hell, they are decent teams now, imagine where they'd be with these two guys. Albania is already qualified for Euro... But no, they chose to not play for the country they love, for money. All while already earning millions from their clubs. That's how much they really love their countries.
@@GaIaxyNebulait s not worth explaining what the life of a war immigrant and their families is to western people who have no clue and cannot possibly comprehend what it means coping with ethnic identity but unfortunately there lies the answer to your question. you could do some research and read stuff about kosovo and albania which you will not do because you are just a wanker.
@@georgeskanderbeg3242 What, you can't accept that your team holds a dude that brings nothing but hatred? It's supposed to be a sport, and there is 0 sportsmanship in Shaqiri. I don't even talk about this euro 2024 league, aggressive plays, constantly pushing players on the field. That's not sport, Switzerland should turn to MMA or something, you'll easily be champions there instead. And maybe turn into actors too, oscar would be an easy achievement for your players.
