On its international website, Xiaomi has unveiled the Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen). Comparing the revised folding model to its May 2023 debut predecessor, there are a few notable differences. With three speed levels and a walking mode to facilitate strolling, the new model maintains the same top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph).
The second version of the Electric Scooter 4 Lite has the same rated motor power of 300W, however the new model has a lower maximum power estimate of 390W instead of 600W. Thanks to a larger 9,600mAh battery, the range has increased by 25%, from 20 km (~12 miles) to 25 km (~16 miles). The battery can be fully charged in eight hours. Additional features include drum brakes and E-ABS, 10-inch pneumatic tires, a headlight, and an integrated speedometer with a battery level indicator. The Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app allows you to access this data in addition to other data.
The maximum supported load of the Lite (2nd Gen) is still 100 kg (~220 lbs), while being slightly heavier at 16.2 kg (~35.7 lbs) than the prior model of 15.6 kg (~34.4 lbs). The new Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen)'s price and release date are still pending. For comparison, the original 4 Lite model originally retailed for €449.99, however it is currently available at a cheaper price of €399.99.
