A short video where I replace the battery of my Mi 6.
I replaced it with a Nohon brand battery found on AliExpress. They have good reviews and after a month and a half of usage it seems to be holding up really well. The same quality as the original battery.

@@ismahell Yeah it's still good. I think this brand is good. I checked before buying and a lot of people from AOSP community are using Nohon

great tutorial, I'm just having a hard time sticking all the crap back together because the glass kinda slides away to one side on the lower side of the phone causing the seal to be.. well.. not a seal at all. any recommendations?

help in the situation, I glued the battery on the mi6 to the display loop, when replacing the next battery, how do I act so as not to tear off the loop?

Is is possible to put it back together using old glue? Maybe just heat it a bit before ?

Best to at least use some strong double-sided tape. The included sticker that came with the battery wasn't even strong enough to hold the glass on. The glue is really cheap for the smallest tube it's about $3 The old glue is pretty much destroyed when you run the tool under the back to remove it. So I don't think it will really work, but you can try

@@PaHeTbI4 I didn't experience issues like that. It's not very scientific but sometimes you have to let the phone settle on a new rom. Like it finds it's optimal settings when you use it for a week or so.

After replacing my MI6's battery with the nohon one, my fingerprint stopped working..any clue why that happened? I didn't break or damage anything, I also checked the connector of the battery once more, plus the connector of the fingerprint sensor at the buttom, under the lower board of the phone.

Try to reset the connectors again. Maybe some dust got in one of them. Worst case scenario perhaps one of the flex cables under the battery was damaged during replacement causing a break in connection between FP and motherboard. There's no connectors above the battery that I can see which would connect them.

How long battery health for this Nohon brand?

It's showing around 2700-3000 mah capacity 9 months after replacement. I use it a lot so that's not bad IMO. Nohon has good ratings on AliExpress

Would you be so kind and check the exact store you ordered the battery from on AliExpress? There are many shops with many Nohon batteries for various prices and most of them call them selves Nohon Official or Nohon Factory etc. I assume there are many fakes and I want to avoid buying half capacity unit (that won't solve the problem). Have a lot of bad experience from past with batteries :-/
