A short video which shows the first useable progress on the xiaomi mi band 6 custom firmware.
It uses a Dialog DA14697 Microcontroller and has an 152x486 Pixel Amoled display plus a lot more features.

I'll be following this. The Mi Band would make an awesome device for controlling Home Assistant but the stock firmware holds it back. It'd so cool to have custom menus on the band to be able to trigger actions around my home.

Not to so easy to develop firmware for these kind . Needs time and patience to understand things.Really cool and really appreciate hope you will post more these kind of stuff.

Very nice! I would also be all in on a custom fw for the mi band. It's a really nice device but, as others also have noted, the stock firmware holds it potential back quite a bit.

Hi i hope new updates are on the line. Amazing work please continue, hope you are not alone in this journey and can find someone to help you. I really would like to "install" simple apps on this device just to make it more personal, even i more customizable flash light.

Hey bro I have a problem in my mi band 6 .I have connect to my older phone that phone was stolen .now I want to connect to new phone but Its not connecting I have tried somany times.is there any way to connect the mi band with 3rd party app??

Creator of video probably won't help but i will do if you subscribe if it helps you🤗 : go to the watch's settings and find reset to factory Then install the Mi fit app or the new name for it now, and connect your Smartwatch, from there you Can do anything you want, download other apps than Mi fit, just keep Mi fit in ur phone, some custom apps for Mi band need Mi fit kind of for example notify (really Great app, i reccomend it)
