Bought mine Dec 2021. It's dying now, has some multiple horizontal black lines across the screen. It's the panel that's dying for sure, since I tried multiple cables and use both my laptop and desktop. Might have been my use case but I've been working from home since 2021 using this for work and for consuming entertainment and this monitor IS ALWAYS ON every single day since for atleast 16h-20hrs a day. (Yes I rarely go outside even on weekends lol.) It was the most affordable ultrawide for a reason I guess, lifespan's not really up there if used almost nonstop like mine. My 24 inch Asus 1080p was bought last 2016 with the same amount of usage and its still alive today as my 2nd monitor.
When you open Excel widely, the happy face is priceless 04:03. The previous message was copied and pasted from Excel. One issue with this monitor is sometimes my eyes feel very tired; I think because you don't want to miss information, so the eyes can move across the screen involuntarily.
hehe, yea! imagine being able to see the whole sheet form a-z and more! haha.. yea, i think you will have to get used to it, take some time to rest your eyes after long hours of use.

Great video! are you able to adjust the resolution when you do PBP? I have this monitor but when I do want to use it as PBP I find that the image looks a little bit weird si I don't really use that mode. I want to conect both my personal Macbook and my work pc.
hm.. i think the monitor will squish the two inputs to fit your ultrawide. try setting to half the resolution for the source (your mac and pc) and see if it works..

hi, thanks for watching!, sorry havent tried what you mentioned exactly, but if you have a wireless mouse /bluetooth mouse that can have tow connections like the mx master 3, you can swtch between two computers to control each. the mx keyboard i think also supports 2 to 3 computers connected.

Hello sir. Very comprehensive video. I am having issues changing the language of the menu. On my monitor that arrived just today, I can only select CN language. No other options are available. Is there any fix for that?
@@phillipjacobs9982 yes, but the monitor can set the correct aspect ratio to 16:9. You will see black bars on your left and right tho. Unfortunately consoles can't do ultra wide
Great review! Currently looking at this along with Gigabyte 34 ultrawide. It seems that its no longer available in the local Mi store and I can only buy it in lazada or shopee. How is your unit holding up?
I love this monitor's design so much. So many tacky looking monitors these days, but I am glad I watched this video because I have an nvidia gpu, so if the freesync on this monitor isn't going to work with it as you said you experienced, it's sadly going to have to be a pass. It's a shame because I can't find any monitors with a clean minimalistic design like this with similar specs & at such a good price point.

@@AndrewDy Thanks for the thorough review! No other reviews for this monitor mentioned the problem with the freesync & nvidia cards so I could've bought it without knowing. With the freesync disabled, how does this monitor perform? Would you still vouch for it regardless? Thanks for suggesting the Gigabyte monitor, but I can't find any of those in my country. This Xiaomi monitor is the most appealing option to me because of it's design and price point, it's really a shame that the freesync has issues with Nvidia cards. @@ohai1526 yes i can recommend this monitory. i use it daily, i can say its worth the money for this kind of performance. of course there are more expensive ones that will give you more.. but i am happy with this one. i do want to mention that inherent to ALL VA panels monitors, they do not have nice blacks and can have smearing. as for the freesync, didnt mind it while disabled. your milage may vary, as i do not know if the issue with freesync is just for THIS particular monitor or not. thanks for the sub! appreciate it

Would it be best to use a radeon 6800? or an rtx 3070 on ultra settings? What about gsync compatibility and refresh rate difference upon using nvidia gpu? Thanks!
Thanks for watching. either 6800 or rtx 3070 should be able to drive this puppy to high to ultra.. maybe except cyberpunk lol.. this monitor supports freesync but as for gsync, its kinda hit or miss, i personally have problems with flickering using nvdia with freesync on.
Do we lose Freesync and be locked at 60hz when we use PBP? I'm thinking of a setup where 1 computer with a video card that has 1 DP cable plugged into 1 monitor and another DP cable plugged into the same monitor. Making windows think I have a dual monitor setup on a single Ultrawide monitor. I would use PBP to show both outputs into the single ultrawide monitor
Very good review! I recently bought this monitor and I like it a lot =D. The only problem is that because I stream, I want to have the 16:9 mode at that moment, but the image looks a bit distorted (stretched), do you know how to fix it? I tried to change the resolution in Nvidia, but it doesn't look "perfect" when I use 16:9 mode Can you help me? =(
Is this worth it for producitivty and casual gaming? I mostly use Excel, Word, Browse on the internet, watch Videos, Movies and play games like Forza Horizon 4, Ride 4, Minecraft. Is the 144Hz refresh rate working correctly, does it feel good?
oh definitely good for those use case scenarios. you do need display port cable (comes with the monitor) that you can connect to display port of your graphics card. i enjoy having a big wide screen, improves productivity. imagine seeing columns A-Z and some more! haha..

yes it can drive the screen, but i dont think you can play games with it.. its better if you have a dedicated gpu in your laptop that is of higher specs.
Hi, i wana ask about the Picture by Picture mode. What resolution are u running on both devices? Cause when I use PbP mode for my pc and laptop, the display for each input will be too narrow and squeezed
Hi, dude. I just found the solution. You cant change resolution through the windows setting if you are using win 10 or 11, but through the graphic card application, for my case, I'm using the intel graphic command center. You must change the resolution to 1720 x 1440 and 60hz. if this makes the screen stretch, then only can work.

yes, you can use it for ps5, but you will have black bars on the sides or your will have stretched screen.. since PS do not support native ultrawide aspect ratio. only 16:9 are supported
Hi friend, please take a look at your windows display setting, there is a toggle there wherein you have to change to 144 hz refresh rates.. its in settings, search in "advance display settings" a drop down should be there to change your refresh rates.
wala naman major issues.. so far i am enjoying it.. ang minor lang is you need to have a beefy gpu to enjoy it to the max.. and snce hindi sya OLED, the blacks are not entirely black and may experience smearing of the black color if you move your view very fast.. d ko naman pansin yan madalas. but overall great budget ultrawide monitor. catch it on sale sa lazada or shopee. or use my links in the video descriptions.

Hmm.. I am not sure what you mean or trying to do for your setup scenario. However, if I understand it correctly, you could plug two cables say hdmi to your monitor, at the same time plug those two cables other end to two hdmi ports of your gpu card. Then on your monitor set it to display Picture By Picture, (side by side show of two video input source) On your windows Os settings, (win +p keyboard shortcut) change your display to duplicate /mirror. That way you should see the same screen side by side. Another way is to set your windows display settings to Extended mode.
In extended mode, you will have two desktop view. Do note that you will have to set your resolutions to both desktop setting to be 1720x1440 to make it fit on both left and right without the image becoming squished Let me know if you have any questions or clarification
i am not familiar with your system, however, do check if your laptop has a dedicated GPU to be able to run games at native 3440 x 1440 resolution at a respectable frame rate. such as gtx 1060 up. if you are doing it for non games any integrated gpu should be able to power it up.
@@diebekifftemerkel7461 I already have it and the black smearing is there but when you're in game its not even there..you can see it only when you scroll on desktop at certain dark images but nonetheless its very good im pretty satisfied..ill make a view review myself.
hm.. i am not understanding your question, but i dont think that is a function of the monitor to have user accounts in it. what you can do, is to plug in two computers / console via hdmi/display port, and display the video split screen.

hi, in my understanding, the macbook air only has usb thunderbolt connections. you would need the usb thunderbolt converted to hdmi to be able to connect this monitor. you would need to get a usb thunderbolt dongle for that of a cable that is USB on one side, the other side is hdmi

check windows settings ng display, may advance settings doon check if your refresh rate is 144hz also, check ung settings ng monitor mo mismo, if naka set sa 144hz. under "information"
hi, you can play around with the settings on your game, try to disable all or set everything to low, then move your way up on each settings. until you find the culprit. the monitor do have some ghostings, but it should only be minimal.

when you split the monitor for 2 different sources, are you able to manage the right resolution? In my case it's not working, the OS still sees the screen with the full resolution also if I'm using only half of it
yes, pero you will have to either set it at aspect ratio of 16:9 that have black bars at the left and right. or your screen will default to stretched mode. since consoles do not support ultrawide
yes, as long as you have hdmi or display port on your gpu. however, do not expect it will run games well at the max resolution. but for general use, internet, productivity office works.. it can run with your rx570. before i run it with gtx 1060 no problem. thanks for watching. should you buy pls use links in my video to support the channel.
