Their concept is that they are GOBLINS (look at their "goblin" signature character wearing the ghost looking white hoodie). The MV Korean title for Tricky House directly translates to 'Goblin House'. So unlike western 'ghosts/spirits' which are associated with the death of a human, in Korean lore they're nature-like spirits, and that's why you see the blue flames throughout the Tricky House MV, since goblins are associated with blue flames in Korean lore. Goblins (in Korean lore) can also transform into different things and take on different forms and so on" : Dokkaebi (Korean: 도깨비) are legendary creatures from Korean mythology and folklore. Dokkaebi, also known as "Korean goblins", are nature deities or spirits possessing extraordinary powers and abilities that are used to interact with humans, at times playing tricks on them and at times helping them.

And you are literally the first reactor (i have seen) that didn’t IMMEDIATELY say 'oh, they sound like ateez' just because they are from KQ. thank you for that! because they sound nothing alike. i guess people got energy and sound mixed up 👀

I'm glad that you gave meaning to the music video and it totally makes sense..I was thinking along the same lines as how the older guy there basically represents someone who goes through the same routine of life and this song and the boys themselves are a way to bring life into him and thus welcoming us to this so called "tricky house" which is sought to be strange, mysterious and alluring.

If you can I would definitely recommend checking out their live stage performance of Tricky House and their b-side Xikey. They’re honestly insane lol

Thank you for seeing "more" in this, because I think it kinda got glossed over that there were nuances to this storyline. I'd highly recommend listening to the album, it's kinda brilliant, and there is an opening explainer about the origin of Tricky. The goblin aspect of the whole thing is really interesting, too, as tricksters both fulfilling wishes and still being wildlings. I feel like they are and have the opportunity to be wildlings at debut and define and refine their stories from here. I'm looking forward to their futures!

Just like Ateez were KQ Fellaz before their debut, xikers were KQ Fellaz 2. They had a predebut show you may want to check out about them creating their predebut song GEEK. Also they did some dance videos like Ateez did.

Normally I can tell wether I'll like a song just by hearing the first 30 seconds of it and this song didn't disappoint as I fell in love with it straight away and I love the electric/EDM sound of it aswell. I also love the rapping and choreo too and its so catchy😊

xikers’ storyline what will we look like? (in what form?) in a world where everyone's life road-map is entrusted/left to 'data'. everything that will happen in the future flows according to the 'bestest scenario' that is provided to everyone through a long-accumulated database, the optimal scenario that considered the direction and way of life of all beings, not only individuals but also its relativity. it’s indeed a "utopia". the nations have lost their reason for existence and in the world there are only 'border' divided according to climates and environments. and the world revolves around the data library that exists in the middle of this 'border'. those who are not given a set scenario in the “border" are called as "xikers" and their possibilities are marked/indicated by "X" of failures. the kids who are alienated from the world's order in the "border' wander around the world they're not welcome anywhere (to be left out) as the unwelcome beings, the kids live with pain, sorrow, loneliness, and injustice in "utopia" world, which defines them as failures. why the hell they didn't get a scenario of coordinates? were they born useless to anyone/for nothing? or is it kind of error in the data library? anyhow, as the result, the kids are treated as another kind of mutations/like a mutant, excluded from society, treated as if they do not exist at all and they're live without belonging anywhere even though they wanted coordinates' life, but by the time they get used to a life without coordinates, 'xikers' start dreaming. a dream that repeats the same phrase "do you want to know your coordinates? if you want to meet it after waking up, visit TRICKY HOUSE" and then, one by one, xikers step out of the frame of 'border' to find 'TRICKY' in their dreams. the appearance of 'TRICKY', who moves freely across 'borders' and exists as its desired beyond time and space is very interesting to xikers. in the end, 'xikers' who visited the TRICKY HOUSE to find TRICKY and through their meeting they created . their 'X' is no longer recognized as 'failure' but means undefined possibilities, In other words, it is re-recognized as X, which means 'changeable potential' / 'changing potential'. at TRICKY HOUSE, those 'xikers' creates their own coordinates and go on their own journey through the newly discovered potential of "X".

as always i really like ur reaction videos and i agree with u they are amazing and from what i know this song was inspired by Bollywood and hongjoong participated in the production (lyrics, composing and arrangement) for every song in their album which is great album btw and xikers rap line participate in the lyrics of the whole album also like ateez xikers leader involve in the composing for his group songs as well iam so excited for them actually they have it all

Istg if Xikers' lore briefly ties into Ateez' lore at some point I'm gonna flip some tables because that would be incredible for several reasons and knowing KQ it would be done 10 times better than what SME keeps trying to do with Kwangya (although I love the idea of it itself).
