Nice video Chuck. Glad you were able to fix it, on camera the cocking cycle sounds very smooth. The sites and general quality of the gun look amazing... Looking forward to sre howvit performs!
I can't wait to see how the XS25S shoots. I remembered that Mike Melick's AKA Flying Dragon Airguns used to sell these tuned by him for those that couldn't shell out the money for the Diana 34. Many people buy his pre-tuned air rifles. Not everyone can tune their own break barrels so this gave them a tuned gun for much less than the Diana 34. I looked up his site and he still does sell and tune these rifles. Somehow I ended up coming across JTS's website and a break barrel that really intrigued me. So somehow I ended up buying another Chinese made air rifle from watching your video's. I'm only have one tactical looking air rifle so I added another. It's basically this air rifle in a tactical stock call the JTS Artisan Neo in .177. Of all the airguns I have I don't have a Diana 34 or a clone and nothing that has an AR style adjustable stock. Looks like it might not be imported anymore after the last few are sold so thought it would be great for my collection. I do have a 1994 RWS/Diana 48 I put a Vortex tune kit in. I almost bought a compact 34 years ago. Will be fun to shoot a new air rifle again. Been almost a year lol. I think I need to get around to making some video's.
Not necessarily, it might have been 1 in 50, to give them the benefit of the doubt. Mike at Flying Dragon Air Rifles will go through the rifle for an extra 35 dollars. If someone paid me, I would do it for less. No trigger job, of course.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I have paid for extra test shots and leak testing on my last three purchases. I hate the return process with most vendors.
I got a wood stocked XS25 .22 in 2017. Mine does 675 with 14.3gr Crosman. The trigger is awful about 8 pounds of gritty pull through a half inch indistinct break. I’m going to be doing a second screw mod on it once a drill and tap kit that I ordered arrives. Glad to see you got a nice trigger on yours, Chinese guns seem to be pretty inconsistent on triggers.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 that sucks. Was it due to poor accuracy issues? I found mine to be very hold sensitive. A light artillery hold with the support hand at the balance point not much forward of the trigger guard and mine will group well. Except for throwing shots from the poor trigger.
Once you get a good feel for it can you compare it to the Hatsan 95 ? - I've already got a XS25 with the bamboo stock, but have been considering the Hatsan..
Actually I made an update video this evening. I performed a pellet to boar test and the pellet fell through the barrel at the half way point. Bad barrel=bad accuracy, so I have to ship it back to Pyramid Air. I would still like to try a nother Xisico XS25S 22.
I'm sure that you could do that, but this is already a good trigger. It's not really a fake clone, but it is a clone of the 34. The rifle appears to be a very accurate and worth the price 🙂👍
