i have the x3 in normal like light outside very bad video quality this kind of camera must have 8k / 2x 4K / and 60 fps with Active HDR and runs outside in hot weahter with no problems with record time more than 3hours . then thats perfect. but the x3 was hot in some after 20 min that shut down for 15 min for cooling . thats cracy^^ and with the action 4 and osmo poket i dont want to use luts in post . i want record and everything was great.^^

Steven's a great guy! I met up with him here on Oahu where I live. I have tested and use the products he makes and they are great quality and great additions to the X3. I need to do a video on them, I have just had my hands full with a 4 month old and 2 year old and haven't been able to make hardly any content since my youngest was born.

I have a sonicake wireless mic. It works on my insta360 rs. But does not work on my insta360 X3. Its set up the exact way as the RS. Am i doing anything wrong? Any hints on how to get it working?

For now anything with 1” sensor, smaller sensor thats like the X3 in low light, just forget it..very crappy image quality.

Not to knock Steve, but there are a few different ones in 3d print files available for free, so you can make you own. Or pay a local teenager 10$ to print for you. Xmount360 to a regular consumer is steeply priced for what it is.

Wish the 360 cams had timecode. They we wouldn't even need to use wireless audio. Sad every camera needs its own converters these days just to use a mic.

I wouldn't call this the ultimate solution. THE ultimate wireless audio solution will not make the action camera lose its waterproof rating.

Man, it's so clunky and dumb. They just need an integrated receiver inside the next camera. A receiver that has the capability to pick up the signal from several brands of Mics.
