Looking to buy this. This may sound crazy but I have a cintiq screen and wanted this as an Alternative drawing method. My cintiq is amazing but not portable. I also love to use both styles of tables. My problem is have both tablets at the same time. Switching between the two would be a dream. I find that this might be an impossible task.
I have installed this tablet's driver while having the Wacom 13HD Cintiq installed as well and they both actually worked just fine. It may not always be flawless given updates and changes to the driver, but it did work.
I'm having difficulty with my pen, it doesn't work when I put it against the tablet and try to move the mouse around, but the tablet still recognizes the pen and lights up at the top left when I press on the tablet with it. Any tips?
I got this tablet not that long ago but haven't been able to use it because the sensitivity isn't working, its not a huge issue I guess but it's uncomfortable and makes it look like I'm using my mouse to draw. If you could help me with that, it would be great. I have a dell laptop
Hi Diana, what program are you using to draw with? Have you tried using the tablet with any other drawing programs? Also, what is the operating system on your laptop?
do you think it is a good choice if I'm gonna use it for making tutorials only, I just need to draw and write on white screen, so I just care about the delay between writing on the tablet and what shows on the screen. does it have any delay?
I bought the tablet and I am having such a hard time downloading the software. It keeps asking me for the activation code or to buy it. Do you have any advice on how I can download it?
Be sure you are downloading the driver from this page: www.xp-pen.com/download/index.html and at the moment, the 3rd driver on the list is the one you want to download. There will never be an activation code needed for installing tablet drivers.
I've encountered this before with other tablets. In the tablet driver there should be a little checkbox at the bottom of the screen that says "Windows Ink", I suggest closing all drawing programs completely then going to the driver and checking [or unchecking, if its already checked] and hit apply. Then open Sai and see if it allows it to work.
sorry, so to use wireless mode, we just need to stick that small device to the tablet, and stick nothing to the laptop? I am still unsure about how to use wireless mode.
The wireless receiver USB plugs in to your computer and that allows the tablet to connect wirelessly. I would suggest installing the tablet with the provided USB cables then use the wireless function after everything has been installed.
The pen is battery free, and the tablet charges while it is plugged in through the usb cable to the computer. While plugged in you can still use the tablet.
When you install the driver it will place a icon on your desktop (if you are using Windows) you can see it at 3:33 And the tablet can be used wirelessly once charged, you remove the cable and flip the wireless switch on the back of the tablet.
illustrayna hmm, I wonder why it isn’t working for me 😭. I can draw in the program with it, but the pen pressure isn’t working, it’s as if I’m drawing with a mouse. But the pen pressure is working in another drawing program I have so it must be just Clip Studio. 😭😭
Clip may require you to turn on or off the "Windows Ink" check box in the driver. Have you tried this? Make sure Clip Studio is completely closed before you make the change, hit apply, then open it after the change is made and test it.
illustrayna I did actually turn that on and thought maybe that was the cause, but I never closed Clip and reopened it! But now did and it works now! Thank you for your help!
Pressure sensitivity does work with Sai. (If that is your question) If it doesn't work at the time, try uninstalling driver and restarting computer, then install driver again.
