You can feel the passion he has in his voice as he is rapping, this is something you dont see in just any song nowadays. Now, no one knows where Xperado is, he just vanished. I think that makes his passion more real, he made this song probably knowing that the chances that it would go mainstream were slim, but he still gave it everything he had in this song. "Claim stolen land with plans of major stock To bless the whole fam but damn it's a hustle Gotta struggle just to stay alive Broken dreams and makin' millions since '85 Many tried and died, eyes on paradise But I strive with pride till I see that afterlife" These lines go so hard
@Georgii Oganisian It's insane how good it is. I'm really glad that i found about it. Goddamn these gems from back then. Let's appreciate them to the fullest.
Stumbled across this on here back in 2010-2011 and still havent ever ran across another rap song quite like this. This song is timeless but somehow still a product of its time where street hustlers were reflecting on the madness of the streets but still being optimistic about being on the hunt for a better life. "many tried and died, eyes on paradise" hope this guy found it because from the lyrics you can tell he was really in the street and wanted out and a better way. this shit will resonate with me forever.
You cant compare this masterpiece of music to todays filth nothing will ever come out as authentic and with passion as this right here golden years of hiphop no doubt
@@ousamaabdu794 I will never understand how such an incredibly diverse and innovative music genre descended into mediocrity and embarrassing horseshit like we see today.
This is that dope 1990’s underground NewYork city hiphop…..There is not a doper sound in all of hiphop than that underground NewYork city sound of the 90’s…..so soulful, euphoric & stimulating 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏🙏
i REMEMBER this track way back in the 1990's. I used to listen to ALOT of underground Hip hop on the radio. WHPK and WXAV!!! This track was so mellow and nice!!! Lyrics were on POINT!!!
It is extremely pleasant for me to listen to such tracks. I remember a little me watching Darkwing Duck and playing GTA 3 on my old computer, while eating grandma's pancakes and pies :))))

This is real hip hop man I’m 17 and I hate the new mainstream music by these shit mumble rappers who have no respect for the culture and story telling of hip hop and how much it evolved and changed our world especially since I’m from NYC where hip hop began I always felt a deep connection to it and old school school songs like these remind me of the golden era I wish I lived in
