Xplorer sailplanes from NAN Models have now swept our open class club competitions and we had a panel discussion about the success of this model. Starting with the Xplorer 1 to the latest Xplorer 3 our club just keeps buying these planes. The only challenge that may come to its popularity is the emerging F5J motor-launch class glider which are built radically lighter since they aren’t exposed to the stress of a winch launch.
