I agree! It’s so soothing watching her. Even if the food they make is all full on unhealthy chemicals,, Cathy just gets you hooked on the infomercial. Best presenter ever! ❤️
I turned this on for comforting background noise, but I wound up learning all kinds of interesting tricks. I’m excited to try spraying Tupperware before putting in tomatoes!
Those machines she sold were pretty good - the recipes were pretty good. That's what's about it. It wasn't junk. It was decent stuff, and she did a nice presentation.
Cathy: "How often do you forget to tell your kids you love 'em? So you can give them something heart-shaped so they know mom loves them a lot." Me: *tear "Dope."
You forgot the part where she literally sprays a coating of poison on those heart shaped pancakes. 😂 Isn’t that just the way to show your kids you love them?
I use to make Calzones in the half round. Love this little machine. Started using it again for my healthy eating. :) Made me a frittata with chopped up fine potato and onion and egg whites. Was pretty tasty.
I could watch her “cook” and listen to her little tips all day long lol. I’ve never heard of making a syrup from jello. Very interesting. I’m curious how good it is. I also like that she’s not too shy from mention actual name brands of packaged store foods. Lots of cooks purposely don’t mention brands and sometimes it’s frustrating trying to figure out the brands they use.
Omg I have been cooking since I was 8 and that's almost 50 yr and never heard about spraying the plastic wear with the cooking spray to save from staining. Would have saved me a lot of money!
I love Cathy and all her informercials but notice when she was talking about the freshness of an egg, she made a mistake, until she looked over at one of the crew members, you can tell someone signaled her that she was going to say the wrong thing, cause she had that fake laugh afterwards to cover up her mistake
@@ackman3981 Of course she is. Her energy and conviction comes off so naturally even if she's paid to advertise the product. Most other sellers sound like they're memorizing a script or if they do know the script by heart, you can tell that they don't sound the least bit interested even if they try to sound enthusiastic.
I feel the same way. I watched the rifftrax video about tupperware and that was when I learned you're supposed to "burp it" after placing the lid on to force more air out, which makes the food last longer. I love learning random tips like that.
Dear god, no. PAM is cancerous shit, ffs. Don’t use that! And honestly, just LOOK at her. She’s obese and has proven that her diet is NOT healthy by visuals alone!
Cathy is such an incredible entrepreneur. I’ve seen her infomercial about the GT Xpress 101, and the redi set go. She makes cooking look so easy and so much fun. Thank you Cathy for a great product
She has you fooled. She does all these infomercials like the kind you see at fairs, etc. She gets paid to say great things about the products she tries to sell to you.
Anyone still using these cookers? I picked one up at Goodwill for 2 dollars. Works great! and does Cathy remind anyone of the car-rental agent in "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles"?
My parents used to sell Miracle Maid cookware back in the late 60s and early 70s! They would do demonstrations in customers homes on the weekends!!! People just dont do that anymore !!!
I keep watching these videos! Shes cooked in everything and made allsorts lol is she still alive?? maybe its cause i am from the uk,but she fascinates me lol
@4:40 “I use this for lots of things. You can make cookies with it! You can make…um…uh…um…there’s lots and lots of ideas!” I know this is an exaggeration, but I find it hilarious when these salespeople say you can do lots of different stuff, but then the uh’s and um’s come spilling out when they’re actually trying to think of stuff!
The ingredients she uses totally shows off her generation! Bisquick, canned biscuits, boxed cake. And her dishes: spaghetti, burgers, "Mexican pizza", corn dogs. This is all 100% from Boomers, who stopped making homemade dishes and used all prepackaged, who also would only make all-American recipes. So cool to see an obvious example
I was just saying that! It's not a bad thing to notice this. It's true. That's why these infomercials were so popular. Its all super quick and easy. It reminds me of the 50s. All American meals made with new, faster and much more easily accessible technology. For example, microwave meals became super popular in the 50s. Fast cheap and easy! Boomers are the children of the ppl from the 50s and older. So it makes sense that they cooked in similar ways that their parents did.
Such a tiny little thing with tons of pans / inserts to store and clean. No need for something like this. It can barely make enough to feed one person, takes forever (a normal waffle machine does not take 7+ minutes), and is just a mess of accessories. Just cook normally... All this can be done with a waffle machine or George Foreman type electric grill; or, simply the oven / toaster oven, or stove. Still was relaxing to watch.
being a chinese resturant owner you can make gyoza, wontan, lumpia, stir fry at one teaspoon of oil. this is a game changer because for one person it is the best cooker for one person. You can cook tempura , fry chicken for only 3/4 cup of oil. Nothing comes close. I do not care about about pancake I am concern to cook stir fry asian food.. nothing comes close this is the best to cook fried rice, brocolli rice, cashew chicken. notice the unit will get hot at 450 degree at 50 seconds then stir fry go red copper easy clean just wipe easy clean just wipe with toilet paper easy clean use any napkin paper nothing comes close gosh this is great
my childhood memory that I used to love when I was young me and my sister. used to love those easy. bake ovens. I just have 1 question for. miss. Mitchell. if you don't have the. express. ready. set. go can use it on any. kind. of oven
How old is this? Because I've always seen many other branded versions in store. Theve become very mainstream. My mom has had one for years now. I mean shes making it out like it's so new... was it?
3DogMom and I know it never comes out the way they do it in the infomercials, I think they’d be really good for personal pizzas but idk about anything else she’s making.
Did 4 sliced potatoes..5 minutes Was pleased Good for eggs Not sure what else... Dash cooker...ok..doesn't heat up as well...potatoes take forever Dash for single burger Juices spill over!!
