Hey guys it's your girl, Cathy, and *today* in this video we'll be showing you how to use the Xpress Redi-Set-Go. Don't forget to drop a like, subscribe and click the notification bell!
My family actually knows Cathy Mitchell and her family and my older sisters actually went to school with her son and daughter. She's lived here in California for a long time but she grew up in the Midwest and she's definitely a Midwestern girl at heart, just such a warm and welcoming lady and very nurturing and a great mom and grandma! She started out selling kitchen gadgets at art and wine festivals and county fairs and stuff like that and she found out she had a gift for sales and her career just took off!
She's got a great personality on tv, which is why I guess she's so popular. But most of the products she sells are useless. Like how come someone who looks so sweet, scam people in buying garbage? I don't know, somethings off about Kathy. But once again, her informercials are entertaining.
I wonder if you can still buy an Express ready set go. I've always wanted one and never did buy one. This lady always seem like she would in real life be a very nice person and just be like the mom of all moms
I bought three of them, like making the pizza, ordered them off of Ebay, all garbage! one got so hot it begin to peel the non stick coating, number two timer stop working! just got number three, pieces fell off the back left side! pitiful!! I'm DONE!! 😂
Watching an old infomercial for nostalgia purposes is completely normal. Watching the product tutorial video beyond twisted. We need professional help.
I know she's kinda become a meme but... like at the same time, she seems like such an awesome person, like she actually does like the things she's selling. Plus, I'd love to go over and just chat and bake sutff, that seems so fun with her. X)
The thing about Cathy Mitchell is that she’s obviously great at her job. She goes from line to line with such ease and precision, but still seeming approachable. She was literally born to be a spokesperson lol.
tbh i cant explain why but videos like these like anything with cathy and even dee (the rainbow sponge lady) just calm me down and like. Destress me and i love it
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Man you even edited this, giving yourself a second chance not to post it, and you still decided to comment. To answer your question…….so?
Best lines from this video: "You get to have it your way when you're at your house." "In case you didn't know, *pours salt into hand* that's a teaspoon." "If you don't have a mixer, put one of your kids to work doing this." "Now, does this look hard? No! Anyone can do this." "25-35 minutes. That's a long time. Try telling that to a hungry toddler!" "A brownie with a hot, wet kiss inside."
First started watching Cathy in infomercials late at night in Australia and thought it was just a cooking show. Literally didn’t think she was selling anything I just loved it, and her. Her energy is like nana and I could watch her cook for hours.
We are in corona-lockdown and so I rediscovered my red copper in the cubboard yesterday. And Cathy, I am so glad I could still access your tutorials! You immediately inspired me to make blueberry muffins and an apple cake. And I made fish filet with sweet patatoes for dinner. (hubby had to work late so I could eat watever I liked!) This morning I made your allmost instant pizza dough that is really as easy as you said it would be. So we had pizza for lunch. Yummy! So happy tinkering along with those gadgets! I stull would like to buy the Xpress redi set go with all the pans, bur they are not available in the Netherlands. Too bad!
This honestly seems great for a broke student, single people living alone, older kids, someone watching portions/has eating issues etc. But this is definitely not for a family. Lol. Love you Cathy.
I've been watching Cathy Mitchell videos for years! She's just great at explaining the processes and offering tips! And I know she wouldn't be selling crap. Only stuff she knows actually works! I wish her well!😄🌈
My word it smells so good! Am I the only one who can smell the food cooking on RU-vid? I won't have anything cooking and about the time the food starts smelling good I smell it.
I really enjoy watching this because I feel Cathy Mitchell is being much more candid and much more straightforward here, a lot less of the sales pitch since the product is done - AND I LOVE IT, I think she would have done great with her own show on the cooking network. Just a pleasant lady to watch who is perhaps the most unpretentious cook I have ever seen.
Sadly she HAS to mention looking at the machine as the first thing because there are some real idiots who don't even do that, kind of people who wonder where to plug in the tissue box.
Where did he mention race? He's referring to those who don't read instructions, end up hurting someone or damaging something thanks to the product then sueing for the damages. You got to cover all your bases
Cathy really got into using non-stick spray on non-stick surfaces. Experts actually say that using non-stick spray on non-stick surfaces will build up a residue that over time can damage the non-stick coating.
It’s funny because they sold these machines in the infomercial as being nonstick coatings, but clearly they aren’t if Pam is needed (funny that they didn’t show using Pam in the infomercial though! She only does it in this DVD instructional thing that came with the appliance). Also, comments I’ve read from people that owned them said that the coatings would chip and peel off. It was so bad in fact that the third version of this that they sold (the express platinum) they said in the infomercial that it was triple layered nonstick coating so that it wouldn’t peel/chip off rofl).
When she says putting frozen veggies in the rice to get more veggies into her kids then later says her oldest child is 40 years old. I’m starting to believe she doesn’t even have kids.
I love ya Kathy and I really enjoy watching your videos, but I think we all could do the same thing with an Easy Bake Oven from the '70s! Hope that you are doing well!
Cathy's pizza so reminds me of my wee Mammy's pizza, God rest her & bless her.My wee Mammy would be saying that's how I used to make mine. Nae pizza compares to my wee Mammys pizza.
I need to be able to get the recipe book for this little cooker. I'm not creative enough to think of all the things I might do with it on my own. Any suggestions how I can obtain one?
It does cook from the top and bottom. But since the fish fillets we're so short they wouldn't actually come in contact with the top of the pan to brown. Thus stacking them. She also could have just put one in each side and then flipped it to get browning on both sides that way to. But she was trying to make a point that you didn't have to use both sides of the split pan. You could just use one side if you need to it's not going to damage it or anything.
Cathy, i was wondering, Can i buy and use the frozen stuffed Chicken Cordon Bleu, or the frozen Chicken with broccoli and cheese, would i still cook 20min, or would it be more, i love this machine, just need to know a couple of things, thankyou
Fluropolymers such as polytetrafluoroetheylene (PTFE) and substances containing polyfluoroalkyl and perfluoroalkyl compounds (PFAs) are commonly used to create conventional non-stick cooking surfaces. These materials are extremely toxic and highly resilient, both in relation to their interaction with the human body and also the wider environment. These compounds contain fluorinated chemicals which give rise to that slippery surface that we all enjoy cooking on. When exposed to heat, most non-stick cookware becomes a source of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which is a long-chain chemical compound that has been linked to a frightening range of health problems including thyroid disease, infertility in women, organ damage and developmental and reproductive problems. Interestingly, the US Environmental Protection Agency has also declared perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) to be "likely carcinogens", yet despite the warnings, these chemicals are still used in a wide array of household products. A study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) discovered that roughly 98% of Americans now have traces of PFA’s or PFC's in their bodies.
