Marvel Rivals is an upcoming hero shooter video game developed and published by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game is set to release for Microsoft Windows and macOS. The game will be a free-to-play game with a current line up of eighteen characters from Marvel Comics.

If you have good healers its perfectly good. The game just emphasizes synergies and teamplay, so if you take a 250 hp hero and try to play alone you'll get fucked indeed.

Cause the supports are trash and hero like tank, dps, sup aren't locked in where you choose a class and stay in it, meaning sometimes there aren't supports or tanks. They need to fix that lol. And make an open role q like ow.

@@Lemons658you can find similarities in anything if you look hard enough. This game and overwatch are both hero shooters just like call of duty and battlefield are fps games. Overlap is expected, that’s what defines the genre. Saying it’s a copy and paste is not even disingenuous, it’s stupidity.

Camera is so shaky other then that looks ok. Im sure I will play it as long as I played the Gundam version of this game. This feels more like Paladins with Heros then OverWatch with Heros.

Friendship ended with Overwatch. Now Marvel Rivals is my friend. The trailers for this looked scuffed, but the gameplay seems to say it's a surprisingly otherwise fun game. It's beginning to feel like 2016 all over again

All of the things that ruined OW2 are present in that game aswell (greedy business model, milking FOMO through having a battle pass, terrible balancing, no PvE, etc) It's just OW2 but with a marvel slop coat of paint over it.

@@_MrTrue I also hate the scummy practises, but we need to draw a line between developers/publishers doing a sh*tshow and the Game being fun/enjoyable. To begin with, the drama thing with this game is blown out of proportion, that type of practice has existed for maaaany years when it comes to early access games, and is not that Big of a deal because, again, is an alpha test, nobody is paying for this product.

I like Overwatch and i would love new game like it, since Blizz cant seem to get their sh*t together to do something with this ip... but Marvel Rivals aint it. The second i saw the trailer and a few seconds of gameplay, i knew it will be bad... it looks extremly floaty and clunky, badly opimised, like they ported a smartphone game to pc. And even if they optimise it to a godtier feeling gameplay, it stil is a netease game, wich mean monetization-hell... multiple battlepasses/rewardtracks/loginbonus, 10-30 different resources and re-colored shopskins that are priced like a gucci-bag... not to mention the possibility of pay-to-win
