saw x play aoe4, so i decided to buy the game and try it. So far i can beat 1v1 ridiculous level without cheesing (tower rush etc.). But im still too afraid to play with an actual player. My last few matches against real players are all L. Any tips how to improve in this game? I like Chinese playstyle, so I main Chinese only
You need to start playing against others bro.. just play quick matches and then move to ranked.. I would say look for a strategy that you can implement in bronze-gold.. it can be like zhugenu all in with rams and upgrades in feudal.. it will work until about gold/platinum.. at that point you will need to be better at the game and understand other civilisations and general timings
@@joelek19 i always thought chinese biggest power spike is castle age, then spam palace guards all roaming around the map. But every time when i reached castle age with 4 spearman, opponent already have 20+ armies and rams ready to mow down my base. the only good thing for Chinese at feudal age is zhugenu. But they cant beat English longbow, HRE maa, French knights. So thats why i always rush castle
@@zhenthewei yeah bro that’s why you need to understand the way other civs play.. it’s true that China spikes in castle, but it’s not always possible to go straight to castle without defending yourself.. no one will let you do that at a higher level. Are you- 1. Scouting properly? 2. Building a winning composition 3. Protecting yourself from raids 4. Getting economical and military upgrades at the right moment?
I know it sounds like a lot of things.. don’t worry if you don’t get them all right at first.. but practice one thing at the time.. scouting! Do you understand what your opponent is planning? This should be the first thing to learn well.. and the computer will never teach you that
