David, there is sooo much that I like and that make her my dream boat! But instead of listing you all of those features I prefer to summarize for the other subscribers: THIS CAT DOESN'T NEED ANY SECOND THOUGHT ADJUSTMENTS, everything is there, well integrated in perfect balanced lines and. If, as I believe, it is also reasonably performing, then there is nothing to say other than ... I just need to win a lottery to buy it!!!

This is my current favorite cat! I love Dixon Design for both cat and monos! Tomas’ customer service and the cohesive way all systems are put together in Xquisite Yachts puts it well over the top!

Hi Dave, to also answer your poll, i would buy the Xquisite solar without the sail. I'm about to step on a lot of toes here and in case I've written this before in your channel I apologize, but though I like looking at them, I would not buy a sailing cruising cat at this time. If one likes the experience of sailing and/or wants to do something expeditionary, they should get a mono. If they want to simply move from anchor to anchor with max comfort (space, stability, etc) they should wait and get a hybrid solar power cat. They have more deck space, more internal space, are easier to handle, faster, not limited by wind angle, cheaper to maintain due to lack of rigging than sail cats. Sail cats want to do a bit of everything but end up compromising both. Once hybrid power cars are perfected, my prediction is that sail cats will become a niche market.

I was watching an episode of The Admiralty ( Now The Midshipmen …don’t know why they changed the name) and they were talk about the future of mono hulls and cats with the shifting market share. first of all I love Privilege 580 but why do you never compare the Fountaine Pajot catamarans which are much better than the Lagoon both aesthetically, constructively and nautically?

Hey Vittorino. Thanks for watching. I had not had a chance to get onboard any FP larger than 47 until last month. That’s the only reason. The big FPs are scarce.

Hi David, I think you are right and that your research is on the right track . . . I am very impressed by the Privilege 580 and even if we are just a couple (perhaps with a few friends on board) traveling around the Mediterranean I think I will try to buy this real gem . . . I didn't know Sixty Solar and I will have to deepen this knowledge, but I don't think I will change my decision . . . I really like how you approach the knowledge of boats and your videos are very pleasant and allow you to learn more about catamarans with appropriate comparisons . . . 👍

that flybridge is nothing less than dangerous. The lagoon is not good comparison, they can not even make a cabinet drawer straight...in my opinion an overpriced production product in comparison with your alternatives. (having 35+ years of sailing experience, living aboard for almost 15 years)

Hi again Walter. Just to clarify, when you are talking “Fly bridge”, are you speaking of the Lagoon or the Xquisite?
