I’m much lighter than Beyoncé, so let me say this. This is only the way I see it at 59 years old. Light skin female to me tend to start out real pretty. Mixed or not mixed, but darker females age much, much better than us. Look at that picture of Kelly and Beyoncé. Beyoncé is at the point where she has to work at it and Kelly looks real natural. I just wish people would stop bringing up light skin and dark skin. Can’t we all just get along? PS it was Kelly who brought up color first. It started out about talent and then she said I’m a beautiful brown light So she needs to work on that answer too.

And I have to disagree with Q when he said it’s a question that we all asked or wondered about how Kelly felt being in B shadow. First off no I never though anything about it because after the group Kelly or Michelle didn’t even go B path. Michelle went the Gospel route and did a play or two and Kelly seemed like she just lived her life. And during their days as Destiny’s Child at different times during a hiatus as a group B was the only one that did do solo albums and seemed more interested in being a solo performer. At some point both Michelle and Kelly did the solo thing but I don’t think they desired it as much as B. I think the two of them did it after awhile because maybe they missed it and just wanted to get back out there again. I’m just saying I don’t think Kelly or Michelle ever wanted to be that big superstar entertainer. They weren’t trying to do what B was doing.
