The main thing is that Trunks did have ways to potentially defeat Silver. The difference is that Super Silver's infinite speed gave him more chances and openings to exploit. Not to mention that while Trunks may have a potentially win scenario with the Keysword, Silver has many more consistent hacks and abilities that either turn the tide or kill Trunks with less risk.
And to add to Kuri up there, Silver’s Super Form can resist The Key Sword’s nullifications, but just for a small time, if trunks could’ve pushed the Key sword just a little longer then that would’ve been absolutely game over for silver, still was a fun one to watch
This is why you pay attention to analysis bruv. This is not the games Sonic universe and yes, Archie Sonic characters at their peak do make Dragon Ball characters look puny. The pre-analysis would've made it more clear just how unlikely Trunks winning this is.
@@SimeyLive I love trunks way more than silver but sometimes dragon ball fans be goin a little too crazy and need to realize that the verse isn't the strongest out there.
@@SimeyLive this is months late but you give us reasonable dragon ball fans a bad name. base silver is not on the same level as super silver. super forms in sonic are entirely different from dragon ball super forms. they are invulnerable, can breath in space, can warp reality on a multiversal scale as shown, can stop time and completely govern over time and reality itself, can merge dimensions together, literally the simple problem is this, you are scaling super silver to trunks like super silver is a mere dbz super form, when super forms in sonic, their power is from the chaos emeralds, its unlimited power, more bonkers than the infinity stones, and thats not even counting the speed hax they calced. also if you knew anything about the sonic games or the comics, you'd know the time stones are bonkers, even in the games, they give the wielder complete governance over time itself and everything time related. with all 7 you can undo and alter any timeline with just a mere thought, its extremely busted. silver used the time stone to take control of trunks' key sword and rewind it back in time without trunks to hit trunks with it, trunks no longer had control of his own time hax weapon. thats how busted silver is.
Basically: Trunks may have had Strength and Defense, but Silver had everything else to pull the win. . The Dragon Ball's multiverse is gigantic, but it's limited to only timelines involving Dragon Ball, while Archie's multiverse involves multiverses that don't even belong to the Archie Series (Marvel, Mega Man, Spawn etc) .
I feel a major part of a fight with Silver is that one would need to find openings where he _physically cannot_ use his psychokinesis to twist it back at them. For Trunks, he could've had quite a few points in which he could have beaten Silver, but the problem was that Silver, more often than not, wouldn't allow such an opening to appear. His psychokinesis was able to deflect evil energy from the likes of Enerjak, who was FAR stronger than him, in his _base_ form, which meant that twisting a Masenko or Galick Gun wasn't much of a problem for Silver, especially when Super Silver showed up. It's not a case of Trunks having no way to beat Silver; the Keysword could have disabled Silver's psychic powers if he was given more openings to utilize it and bypass the normally invincible Super Silver... But rather, it's a case of Silver having more ways to beat Trunks, since those openings won't appear as often as ones for Silver to make a move, and having a power combo of psychokinesis and time manipulation. One that is, frankly... extremely busted in any matchup.
Unsure if you watched the analysis but this version of Silver is from the Archie comics. Archie Silver and game Silver are basically two different characters, they all are. Thats the reason this distinction is made: game Silver gets absolutely routed.
I know I'm a month l8, but Character Analysis is a requirement for these videos. You skipped the archie continuity, incalculable speed feats, aswell as Archie Super forms affecting things on the scale of several Multiverses, whereas Heroes is stuck in just one. I know they might be boring, but when it comes to fights where they *explicitly* use different versions (Heroes or Archie) you just have no right to judge or complain when you feel their post-analysis was lacking when its built up on the context of the introductions.
So the thing about the Archie series is that they are one of the most powerful characters in fiction, being beaten out by characters that are basically higher dimensional gods. Some of the things they can do is come back from being erased from existence, rewrite the universe, control atoms, have a sense of immortality, etc etc. The reason why base silver was "keeping up" with trunks is not because they were equal, but more as a slow burn to increase the intensity, to generate hype. You see it all the time in dbz, for example broly vs vegeta. We know that base broly beats base vegeta, but we see vegeta holding his own. It doesn't mean that one is stronger than the other because both have more powerful forms, which means that they both are holding back. This is the case with base silver and base trunks. They're both holding back their true power. Now I dont need to say why trunks loses since others already pointed it out but the archie series are just OP
My mans I love both series, but this is the comic versions of the sonic characters and I hate to say it but comic sonic is soloing the entire db multivrse
Okay listen to me very very closely cuz it seems like you're not understanding okay they are not using the actual Canon universes of both franchises they are using fan verse franchises Archie Sonic and Dragon Ball Xenoverse are not the same thing
@@SimeyLive okkkk then why did you act like you didn't know what death battle was talking about? Everytime they made a point for sliver, you kept saying "they don't know what they're talking about?"
@@SimeyLive OK and I'm telling you that if you are gonna speak for DragonBall, at least know your facts first before you say something. When death battle said " the Archie comics verse goes far beyond the DragonBall verse, you had this attitude like "they are wrong" when everyoneeeeee agreed that is true
