To think this adventure started with a island without ship and ended on an island without ship.

They've saved a kingdom. Taken down a Warlord. Took on the Marines on their own turf and won. Snuffed out the evil at the heart of the Eight Flames. Went to space and liberated a whole planet. Rooted out the Aeons, though it was a terrible day for Rain. Ended a gang war in the Oasis. Won a Tournament Arc. Saw the New World. Dried the Blue Blood out from the ranks of Yonkos. Conquered the past and secured their future. Beat Father Time and Mother Memory. Knocked the crown off the head of the Pirate King and saw the One Piece firsthand. They've lost allies along the way: -Rick- (he got better) Atom(#Yeehaw) Old Louis(He changed our fate) Louis Le'Cloque(Au Revoir, mon amis) Little Timmy(The Boy and The Gun) Florence(Tinker on, little Marine boy) Helios(Your light burned out, but your name lives on) Chip(Your death made Rick better) 12 members of Apollo 13(See you in the Marines series, Pluto!) Bullet(ex-slave trader, but William kinda liked you I guess) They've done everything Pirates can accomplish in this Great Pirate Era, and more. In the end, the Devil's Luck never ran out. Now it is time for these men to live on, carve their own paths forward. Thus ends One Piece D&D, thus ends the Devil's Luck Pirates. 2020-2023

I know Rustage said he was worried about disappointing people with the finally, but I can say with my whole heart that Rustage succeeded. This almost made me cry. What a series. P.S. a pdf containing npc sheets would be fire.

Absolutely incredible. I loved watching this entire series and was honestly more invested in this story than I was in the MCU. I don't know if anyone has pointed this out, but it's magical how so many plot points were technically up to chance, yet fit SO well. It ultimately made a story that was good enough to stand alone as a written tale, but was made so much more exciting because it was told in the moment. Can't wait for the next campaign!

Well boys, its been a ride. I cant speak for everyone and im sure nobody wants to get overly sentimental, but One Piece D&D means a lot, especially for those who have been here since the beginning. Having something to look forward to, even if it's once every two weeks, will give you reasons to stay in this world when you have none. I got into high school when OPD&D started and now im leaving it, but Duros, Ragnar, Verona, William, and all the other NPC's have made me feel like I belong and like I have a friend group. Thank you Rustage for being a not good but great DM, always doing your best for the players and viewers, having interesting plot twists and turns. Thank you Tekking for playing one of the most entertaining and lovable assholes in fiction, Captain William is less than he thinks, but more than he is. Thank you Briggs for playing possibly the best character arc in the campaign and being a genuinely cool and funny guy. Thank you Noble for playing the moral pillar, a noble and outstanding example of what every man should strive to be, and thanks for making some of the funniest quips ever. Thank you Spooky for actually playing my favorite character, Verona rocks and he's a really cool guy, and your subtler humor really made the campaign so much more enjoyable. I guess now that this has officially ended I just wanted to say this and i think im speaking for the majority of the fanbase, thank you guys. Can't wait to see Marines, buckle up cuz its gonna get wild. So people, hold up your flagons and raise up the sails for the very last time.

I loved how each member of the DLP ( both PC and NPC) had their moments to shine in the final battle. Every single fighting crewmate managed to score a kill/victory. And how they handled Blue Ragnar was genius. And I’m so happy the crew got the endings they truly deserved. I wonder what happened to Blake, Little Ricky and Clementine though. Maybe we’ll learn in Marines.

The end made me cry so much when William disbanded the crew and when Douros left earth, I've been with the series for three years and the whole experience has been great Thank you Rustage for the best dungeons and Dragon's campaign in History

I don't believe I've commented on this series throughout the journey, but I feel a need to comment on this one. This has been an absolutely amazing adventure, and I'm so glad I found it when I did (roughly episode 5). Not only did this series help me through some tough times, but it even inspired me to start DMing my own campaigns. Thank you, to you and to the whole crew for being a huge inspiration, and for the immense fun along the way!

My headcanon for Ragnar's back story is that he immediately went back to be with his wife and kid and spent time at that Island as it's personal protector for so many years until it was attacked by one of Blue bloods many bastard children he defeats them easily but the sent or taste of their blue blood makes him relapse and thats what made him what he is in his epilogue

Rip Bullet… My ship between William and her is forever broken and lost by that fucking devil Gold D. Roger!!!! Briggs becoming an antagonist at the end was heartbreaking, but fair. Unfortunately, it was the appropriate direction to take his character. My ship with Verona has finally sailed. Hooray for that one. Man… on the side note, I really wanted to see Bullet quest line to be explored. That shit was bogus not knowing who paid Gravy to kill her brother. I’m very disappointed about that.

finally got the finish this last ep!! i have quite a few things i want to say to the whole crew. Rustage… you constantly call yourself a bad DM but all those moments ended up in something hilarious happening and added to fun. you did a fucking fantastic job with the campaign as a whole. the NPC’s are just amazing making people care for characters you created is incredibly impressive. i don’t have a single complaint with how you ran the whole series. The music, story, npc’s friendly and enemies, the voice acting! it’s all just perfect!! to the rest of the crew. i went into this being a huge rustage, tekking, and briggs fan. i had seen some noble videos in the past but not much. never seen any 2spooky content. BUT god damn i loved all 5 of you. everyone had phenomenal comedy and chemistry with each other. it was a great experience watching you all grow together and become more comfortable ESPECIALLY SPOOKY. THANK YOU SO MUCH TOO ALL OF YOU FOR THIS AMAZING JOURNEY!!! ILL ALWAYS CHERISH THIS SERIES AND RETURN TO IT IN THE FUTURE! proud to say you guys made me feel like part of the crew just how oda made me feel like part of the straw hats! I can’t believe it’s over, honestly I kinda wished there was an entire sessions worth of an epilogue showing how they got off of laugh tale and the journey to their respective endpoints that will lead to their respective epilogues like the journey to Duros and the return to the candle’s base where I imagine the rest of the crew would disband officially maybe take a lift to where they want to end up on like Pearl going to Tarako kingdom or William getting his own ship to do thieving stuff, Verona staying with Lissa on the Void Police Ship maybe.

I never thought, someone else’s DnD would make sob like a toddler, but this was one of the most moving things I’ve ever watched

After binge listening to the whole campaign I've gotta say, this was one the best and the most awesome one YET this year for me!

Thank you all for an amazing 3 years, one piece dnd was what got me into dnd and I've happily followed this campaign since episode 2 and this Finale honestly made me tear up, thank you for an amazing campaign and I can't wait for one piece marines!

SPOILER-nothing but respect for Briggs and Rustage for the ending. . . . It's good to look back at the entire campaign and realize that everything Ragnar did led to this outcome. He was never really a good person. He was a jolly person and he loved his family, but that does not mean he was good. As seen with Sir Percival, he was willing to kill a defenceless person for no other reason than the fact that he worked for a guy he didn't like. When he sees his son or Blake taking blue blood, he doesn't go: "that stuff will kill you!" he taunts them for relying on "temporary strength". He talks about wanting strength to protect his family, but he is still willing to kill two people he considers sons, meaning that it's a fluid concept that changes with his fluid morals. Him going into that blue blood was the ultimate expression of his hypocrisy in addition to the moment where he acknowledged that he had reached his limit as a person. A taste of blue blood then shows him the reality that there is something beyond the ceiling. Olaf, despite being made as card game filler, is also there to be the "better" Ragnar. He has a better zoan, is actually from the "right" tribe, more optimized character, younger, not on blue blood, etc. At first, we are meant to see him as a challenge for Ragnar to overcome at the end, but that's a red herring. The reality is that Ragnar can only overcome himself with blue blood. In terms of what this means for Marines, could see one mission being them infiltrating Ragnar's territory and destroying his supply of blue blood or whatever substance he drugs himself with, and then running from an enraged Ragnar, leading to a final battle.

I've always listened to One piece DnD everytime I drived or drove for hours without it feeling like eternity. I was listening to this same podcast when I got into my first car crash. This was an amazing story with amazing players.

To think this 3 year adventure is over almost makes me want to cry not only are you a fire musician you're also a amazing DM Rustage, tekking101, noble, 2spooky, briggs I humbly thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me though these hard times with your humor. Watching this finale live was amazing, especially as it was my first time catching a session live! This campaign has been a huge inspiration to me, I've started my own One Piece D&D campaign because of it. Thank you so much for crafting this fantastic setting and story Rustage!

That ending. What a phenomenal end to a phenomenal campaign. The epilogues were amazing. I can't believe that Ragnar is still addicted to drugs even though it really does make sense. But with Ragnar set up as a major threat in Marines, there are so many potential storylines i could see happening. With 10 years we could have some crazy characters showing up, like Magnus trying to save his dad who's lost sight of himself or the appearance of a teenage (?) Doxie and things like that. And a former PC as a new antagonist raises a ton of huge questions about why he became a mad king, most interesting to me being where his family was, both his wife and son and the Devil's Luck Pirates. As sad as I am that the tale of the Devil's Luck Pirates has come to an end, I'm beyond excited for what comes next. After all, just because the crew disbanded doesn't mean their story is truly over, and the knowledge that Marines will make use of that makes me even more excited than I was. Thank you, Rustage, for creating such a wonderful campaign. Thank you, players, for making and playing such entertaining and heartfelt characters with such incredible moments all the time. And thank you for doing it again.

Man, what a journey it was. I remember watching this series on a whim, and now it is one of my favorites ever. I was a newbie to the D&D experience, and now I want to find some friends to play with. Thank you, guys, so much for this wonderful journey.

That was a real journey. An adventure. I hope we see not only Ragnar, but every Devil's Luck mainliner pirate in the Marines campaign. ...Man. It would be tough, but setting the Marines campaign closer to the modern timeline so they can get Cross Guild bounties would also be cool.

I came across this series by accident when it had been going on for about over a year and I loved it so much that I rushed to catch up. I’ve watched and enjoyed dnd podcasts before but damn there is something different about this series, when I caught up I waited constantly for the next episode… at least until I realised that this was streamed and started watching it live instead. It has been an amazing journey filled with terrible plans, badass moments, extreme stupidity and obviously a lot of luck. Fuck man! I wish i could drink, but my stomach lights up when i do. So, instead ill sit hear and recover from the treadmill while reminiscing about the events that have transpired... also, the amount of unnoticed jokes Spooky dropped made this series for me lol. It started with "wut?? How did they miss that!" To "How sad..." to it being a funny running gag. A gag that was a one-two combo of catching his jokes, then while laughing... begin laughing even harder at the fact that the joke im currently snickering at sailed into dead water lol.
