+ricochet188 I wholeheartedly agree! This is a game that could be made into a decent series. Either create a new game or remake it. But to make it much better add a story to it, as well as multi-player. I think a storyline for the career mode, maybe something with each character, with good drama would really add so much depth and intrigue. A lot of elements could be incorporated into one- romance with someone from another team, your teammate defecting to another team through choice of your actions on and off the track.. Even strange ones like helping a rival team win a race or possible death of a character, your team or otherwise. XGRA had something going by adding personality to the characters and having a "bounty" thing and that could even be improved. Add that to the story in a remake which could potentially change how other characters react to you. There is a lot that could be done to this game. Adding to that, have customizable options such as color and/or design of your bike and wheels with options for light trails, different outfits for the racers With today's video game tech doing this should be easy. While I don't think it would be a blockbuster (as much as I want it to be) it would still be something a lot of people would pick up. And as for achievements, they should be made just easy enough so that everyone would be able to acquire all of them. For god sakes, I would not want to see one requiring you to win every race in every class like WipeOut HD had! That was way too ridiculous to achieve.

it's on both, I played both and the best version is gamecube one, it looks better and plays better

@Daniel well, it's not fair to compare the look of a PS2 game with a PS4 one, of course is going to look horrible, but between the PS2 and GC versions, the later is the best version, the graphics are slightly better than the PS2 and controls are more responsive, mostly because of the triggers, but either way the game is amazing. Both versions are worth playing since there isn't too much of difference between them.

@Daniel damn right, the 6th gen was one of the best, so many gems, and yes this kind of games wouldn't do well because companies would ruin them with microtransactions and services, just like Call of Duty, totally agree with you

According to reviews the games are the exact same except you can play 4 player split screen on GameCube. If there is any difference in the frame rate or visuals it's next to no difference at all.

Ah yes, that happened to me too. Once you go into a game like this, you never go back. GX did that to me. I imagine this one did the same thing for a lot of other people too.

Redout 2 is pretty nuts. The level of control they give you plays a big factor. Plus you're constantly sacrificing your shields for more boost.
