These people who tank with literally nothing really needs to stop. It’s annoying for the viewers and I’m sure just as annoying for the players. It’s not cute, it’s stupid.
Taras plays really weird and really poorly the times I've seen him.. as if he's trying to mix a bunch of different styles in ways that aren't really commensurate with each other, at the wrong times. Just my opinion. Don't know if he's a winning player
Once Taras calls on the riv, and if he checks the riv, Pier isn’t gonna fire. Taras is gonna bet the riv cause you can’t hope Pier is gonna fire if he checks.
@@jamespohl-md2eq you completely deny the ability of your opponent to bluff then, which means you only get called by good hands, and most of the hands that are good hands would call you on the turn. Calling and open shipping river is the worst option because at least on the turn a bunch of his semi bluffs can either call of be denied or their equity, but because we have the nut flush, this is less viable. We'd rather do that with a vulnerable flush that's much lower and doesn't interact with the board texture. Calling and checking river is probably the best play
@@Dementia.Pugilistica Except I never said ship the river. And your assumption that he will bet the river is an assumption that isn’t born out in real life. Checking the river is stupid. If your opponent checks back, which happens a lot, especially when there are a ton of scare cards for the villain.
@@jamespohl-md2eq and I never said he's guaranteed to bet the river, lol. We don't analyze hands as if we know the exact combination he holds dude. It's about what makes more money in a vacuum against a range of hands. Your analysis is purely based off the fact we know his exact cards, which is silly. Anyway, idc how you wanna play this hand. The solvers agree with my line (I just plugged it in last night with a variety of ranges) and solvers aren't the end all be all, but it's as close to an objective measurement we have for poker.
Why does the commentator always say , “ he/she has such a wide range of hands that they could have “ like Duh 🙄 doesn’t everyone who plays Texas Poker have a wide range of hand options that they play. Just seems like a mute statement.
That hand Taras had with nut flush he played so stupidly. For one thing, Taras should have just raised 2x and nothing more on the flop and hoped he would call and see the turn. Then, if he bets, Taras should have rqised 2x again qnd if the other guy just checks, then Taras ahould do a small bet of around $10k or maybe $15k. If the guy calls, great. If not, oh well. Then, Taras should have bet something small again on the river to see if the other guy would call or do an all in and get a snap cwll from Taras. Either way, going all in with the nuts on the turn is the stupidest move to make here. Please come play at our card games if you`re gonna play liie that.
She should not have shown the nuts. Her ling tanking and then to raise with the nuts is a tell. She isnt balanced in her tanking. Best to not show at these levels and be like an IVey who never ever shows.
