In this video I react to the XXXTentacion "Look At Me" documentary and review the XXXTentacion and Kanye West "True Love" single that dropped this Friday. The documentary shockingly talked a lot about the accusations that were against XXXTentacion from Geneva, his ex girlfriend. I recently made a video discussing some rumors about the XXXTentacion "Look At Me" documentary, and my concerns with the documentary. no matter what a lot kids see them in x that’s why he’s highly looked up too, no one gonna forget how x impacted theses kids lives, negatively or positively he was human not some god he was someone special we will never see in music and in this life rest easy jah.

I do fully understand what you mean. But at the same time there was certainly intent with what X likely did, and there wasn’t intent with what Ruggs did. But I do understand that death taints it. Maybe not the best example.

I will say - Geneva never wanted him in jail because she was still in love with him. I do agree they should’ve highlighted the hood he did. Overall I mostly enjoyed the doc

I agree this documentary was a much needed conversation about separating the artist from the art if that should be the case. The documentary is also about redemption and also providing closure I think. I think Cleo and Geneva needed a lot of closure from this bc he died without having that opportunity to see him fully evolve and it’s almost like his momma is trying to right his wrongs for him so that his legacy can remain one that is good. This was a much needed conversation because a lot of women are victimized by people in power or people who have fame or people gain power from victimizing women allegedly. I think this is an important discussion because as fans how should we respond to the victims and how can u support someone’s art but not the person. I hate to bring R Kelly into this or Chris Brown or Johnny Depp. All different stories where women or men are being victimized. The conversation of toxicity and healthy relationships. These are very real experiences, but because they have fame or power it’s publicized and the victims are often bashed.

4:35 I personally I always disagreed a lil bit w this narrative. I feel as if X always had a unusual, large and loyal fan base. I feel like if X stayed out of trouble and honed his craft w Ski, Wifi, Denzel, Craig, Pouya ETC he would’ve still became enormous. I feel like ppl forget he was a small force in the underground around 2016. But tbh that’s j me maybe it wouldn’t have turned out that way. *Keep in mind he had tour planned w ski wifi and Danny towers & no jumper b4 getting locked up for the Geneva situation. The interview from NJ really boosted him for a bit

True but even some of that was due to him getting in all those fights as well. But yeah he did have some momentum before hand
