I'm a part of X's family and I want to say that I've been trying to understand what brings his family together. I got a small idea of what it could be. I think that X has pin pointed a point in his fans/family that no other rapper has chosen to look at. The darkest, deepest parts. X is trying to help the wounded, the isolated, the broken, the numb, people. I try to communicate with his family/fanbase because I feel like we all share a connection that helps us help each other. Because for me, when I started liking X's music--I was in a depressed state. I was alone. His music was my medicine. I didn't feel like I could get out of the pit I was in. But once I found that I wasn't alone, that others like me feel this way, I felt a strong bond to X and his family. A lot of people like to bash X, call him too edgy or woke or whatever. But, to me he is the person who saved me. I'm not the only one who he's helped. Tons and tons (millions actually). Like X said, it's a great responsibility. To take care of himself, to take care of his family, to make music that HEALS. And all he asks for in return is that we are loyal to him, and that we show him we care. For me, I have been brainstorming ideas of how I could show X that I care. I've had ideas of what I really want to do. LIke make a music video for one of his songs, but that's a big goal. On a smaller scale, I talk to his family (or should I be saying mine?) I make journal entries all the time. In the end, I just hope what I do is enough. I know I got really personal but I've been wanting to say this for a while. I’ve been reading many books and I’ve done a lot of research and one of the things I wanted to elaborate on is the fact that negativity and positivity can’t live without each other, at least in this dimensional state of thinking. So from my experience learning this, I decided that the only way I could cope with the negativity in this world, is by realizing it thru positivity, just like Jah was stating with him getting locked up. He could’ve looked at that situation in a really negative nature, but he changed his state of mind to a place where he realized that, without any of the lock ups and things most people would find completely negative, he would’ve found himself being in a completely different state of nature and understanding that wouldn’t make him, himself.
