I could tell they were different with the full face but I feel like it's because I was aware and looking for the difference. I dunno. I agree with you, you could use 385 during summer... As you said options!
Girrrrrrllll!! I just went on Fenty's Insta and got shade matched with one their consultants, I sent them a selfie with no make up on in natural light and she came back with 360 is my match. I previously matched myself to 385 so you and I share the same dilemma. I think 360 is your shade and like you I'm going to do 360 in the winter and 385 as my summer shade. Fenty just dropped powdered foundations. I'd love to see your review as I am have the same complexion as you and I take all my foundation references from your videos. Yes if you can I'd definitely get both so you can mix and match to get your perfect shade. I was just looking at their powder foundations!!! I have such a love hate relationship with Fenty. I started out with 410, too red. 370, too light. 390, too orangy red. Then out of the abyss comes 385. Finally something I can wear. The Red Sea had to part just to get a decent color match.
Yes, we neutral girls have a bit of a struggle with Fenty leaning too orangey or to red. And the oxidizing. 345 works for me, which they call a warm olive neutral undertone. I’m going to try 360 which is straight neutral to see how that works. At my big age, I’m just now starting to understand undertones!! 🤦🏽♀️
I’m last as hell, but I’ve been wearing 385 since that shade came out, however, it’s just a shade dark and can be used in summer months due to the undertone. For winter I actually mix 370/385 is what I found works best. 360/370 is ok but too light for my taste and need just a tad warm so either one of those mixed with 385 will help.
So I’m just now seeing this a year later. Are you still using 360 with Fenty? I thought 385 matched your neck well but as you said 360 matched your chest. That was with the immediate application though. I was thinking after it oxidized and settled in 385 May have turned out to be too dark and 360 just right. Any update? 😊 I’ll check your other vids to see.
Hi! I still use both colors depending on the time of year. My best match is to mix the two. Currently leaning more towards 385 than 360 since it’s the summertime 🌞
These are the two shades I’m stuck between... a worker at Sephora originally matched me as 380 in the summer but it’s very orange on me, and it’s way more noticeable now that’s it’s winter. After watching your video I think 360 is more my match
