Lol that Bitch fucked up light will just be at a Bar for eternity can't be reincarnated can't be sent to the Void i bet he uses Judging Light to troll people.
Wouldn't be surprised. As well if L was there, not going against light but against someone. But if they become a duo in one of the games oof game over for the people going against them.
It's a game he can't win either way. If he's reincarnated all of his intelligence, memories and goals for a new world will die with his body. If he's sent to the void then he suffers. If he stays put he'll turn into a dummy. He can't exactly return to the living and his ideas for a new world died the second Ryuk killed him so even if he did somehow manage to come back to life he can't exactly do anything without a death note and Near would just lock him up. Theirs no way he can reach his endgame now than he's in the bar.
Since both Death Note and Death Parade were animated by Madhouse, they should do an OVA that crosses over both anime and feature Light Yagami and L competing in one of the Death games
+Edric Leung Maybe they take place in the same universe, like it was mentioned in some episode how the number of deaths suddenly increased. Maybe it was Light the responsable.
but Light turned into a Shinigami after his death, why would he even be at the Arbitors bar? Ryuke distinctly said that a person who used the Death note can neither go to Heaven or Hell... we were shown that he turned into a Shinigami afterwards
Would of loved to see Light and L squere off on a game here as they get their memories back, would be epic lol and Light's reactions would be priceless XD
Well it highly depends on how he is described- A) A monster responsible for the unjust and biased death of hundreds of thousands of humans, who he killed off for his own motives B) A selfless human who sacrificed everything, even his own family to punish evil criminals and greatly helped humanity for centuries to come at the cost of his own life
@@trawnp1656 because of him crime rates dropped rapidly, like extremely fast, criminals started fearing him, his methods have a lot of negatives, but this was one of the positives
@@trawnp1656 things definitely changed. It was stated that crime rates throughout the ENTIRE WORLD dropped something like 95%. That is actually mind boggling, humanity was definitely better off in his new world.
Meanwhile, as Light plays in Quindecim: I'll just push the red button... *AND PLAY IT!!* I'll just pick the darts... *AND SHOOT IT!* I'll just get the Bowling ball... *AND STRIKE IT!* I'll just Pick my own Character... *AND FIGHT IT!* I'll just Pick the Right Color... *AND TOUCH IT!* I'll just Hit the Puck... *AND SHOOT IT... AGAIN!* I'll just Play the Cards... *AND AVOID GETTING THE JOKER!* I'll just Take my Skiing Shoes... *AND ICE SKATE!!!* (cues dramatic choir in Death Note)
Woman: Who is this person? Man: Oh you really want to know? Woman: Y...yes? Man: Well... *Dope ass church bells start playing* you're looking at the God of the new world!!!
When I saw this 'light-reincarnation', I literally choked on my soda and my friends and I stopped the episode so we could freak out about it for a few minutes XD
Feeling sad for the person who would have had to play a death game against the criminal mastermind Light. Can imagine the game to be very intense and Light going berserk in his mind thinking about different strategies every second. (Don't come at me with the theory that he won't play the game because he can neither go to hell nor heaven, I'm just asking to imagine)
He can go to heaven or hell. Kind of. In one of the last scenes we see that Ryuk lied about that specific rule. In the death note canon NO ONE can go to heaven or hell cause they dont exist. "Death is the great equalizer. Everbody goes to the same place". Which means if in this series there IS a version of hell/heaven light would be able to enter it
All these people saying "Light will come back in a new anime" Clearly don't understand how manga works. Death Note is owned by Shueisha and more specifically Shonen Jump. Mad House does not own the characters, so including him as a main role in another anime is ridiculously impossible. Not to mention the author of Death Note didn't even want to continue the story after L Died, I can't even imagine Ohba wanting to do a new series featuring Light, especially with Platinum End going strong.
Wait, the author didn't want to continue the story after L died? The fuck? Wasn't he the one who made the story? Just have L return in some plausible way or something like that. No need to sour the experience.
I have to call bullshit on the author not wanting to continue past L's death. Ohba was on record saying that Light is supposed to lose, and was constantly surprised at how many wanted him to succeed in the end.
GwayneKi Ken Well sure we saw that case with regular people, but with death note users who knows, plus they were technicaly 'judges' of the people they killed. It's all fictional bullshit anyways, anyone can make up whatever theories
Light is just sitting there, but actually he's devising a plan to escape or something else, expect that from light yagami, a guy who killed tons of people trying to be the god of the new world.... it would've been better if he was talking to L though
@@kingofstrangeness7014 Ambition to escape death? You did read what I wrote right? No one can escape death. That's not ambition, that's escaping reality.
@@kingofstrangeness7014 If you are taking that into context, then Light is still human. Death was still possible for humans. Light is going to eventually die. It was still dumb of him to escape death which he would face.
Actually its not. There is no heaven and hell in the light's world. So there is no such thing as judgment. I think this scene was to give a message about "purgatory"
An Arbiter would be the most suitable position for Light. The guy had always became delusion into thinking he was a god as he judged humans. In this case, an Arbiter can probably be considered to be the closest position in being a god as they judge should dead humans go to "heaven or hell."
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 they most likely do come from dummies. Dummies are a metaphor for a blank slate. Like a canvas, humans are created on them physically and mentally. Same with the arbiters. But arbiters are not given emotions or life.
He cheated her, he offer Yagami's soul because he knows that him was perfect for the change because since he use the Death Note his soul will fall in void aniway.
Love how everyone is all like "bUT LIGHT CAN'T GO TO HEAVEN OR HELL SO HE WOULD JUST SIT THERE FOREVER!!" Well technically nobody in Death Parade goes to Heaven or Hell. There's only reincarnation and the void. And I can easily assure you, Light's not getting reincarnated. Edit: No idea why people are replying to a three year old comment, but I still stand by what I said. In Death Note, Ryuk said Light would be sent to Mu (nothingness) once he died. In Death Parade, the void is a place of eternal nothingness. His fate was pretty much sealed the second he used the death note.
Death Note and Death Parade were both made by Madhouse that's why there are some easter eggs, like this one or that one where they said more people than usual randomly died
Could have been Mikami, Mello, or Takada considering how close apart they died from each other.i'd pay to see a episode of Mello and Light playing a game with each other hating and trying to kill each one another for all the stuff they did against each other.
@@J10005 that would be an interesting meet up considering Mello never got to meet Light in person I imagine they would play battle ships a game of strategy!
Well then again DELTE was operating on a rather long leash I’m actually surprised Light wasn’t more paranoid considering how fast Near’s forces closed in on DELETE
Ryuk : Death note users can't go to heaven or hell Light : So where am I going to go? Ryuk : oh well..I'll just tell you you'll have many games to play
Well in Death Parade both the boy named Harada and the girl went to the Void...So I hope that maybe they are gonna use Light's Character in a new anime!
What’s even better is this goes perfectly with death note because they said there is no heaven and hell which is true because it’s only resurrection or the void
In episode 5 of death parade a new character called Castra said that more humans have been dying and in this episode the guy said that when humans face death they cling onto life, hmmmmmmm sounds familiar-
I love how the people from Death Parade pay homage to Death Note. However, this is not the first time that I've seen a Death Note Character appear in a entirely different Anime. L actually made a cameo appeared in the Original Fullmetal Panic Series. L was riding a bycicle at the end of a scene in one of the episodes from there. It's true.
Well light should've won originally like near said at the end but that guy mikami screwed up by going to the bank if he followed light's instructions till the end light could've won but thats what we call plot armor it was meant to be that way
I mean death gods and arbiters working together kinda make sense, there's a system that keeps track of the deaths and a system to judge where the souls will go...
Ok so what I got from this is: At the beginning of death parade Decim uses the words Heaven and Hell to explain the circumstances but ti is not much later explained that there words are only used to help with the understanding of the circumstances. When it says that anyone who dies as a result of death note can neither go to heaven or hell might mean the person cannot be judged by the arbiters and the words "heaven and hell" might be a place holder to help mortals understand without giving anything about the afterlife away. This could mean that the place that death parade takes place in with all the floors is a sort of "limbo" between life and death not to be mistaken with the void. Since Yagami can't be judged, as stated in the notebook rules he must remain in limbo which would explain why Ginti had one of his guests (the girl I can't remember the name of) choose for him so yes it is logical to think that maybe he was used as a sort of judging tool. The girl eventually is sent to "Hell" or more known as the void in this case because she chose to send the Light Yagami Character to the void without knowing a thing about him. This is why the mask above starts off to suggest they'll be sent to reincarnation. If she had chosen otherwise she would have probably protested at which door she was entering. Of course similar to the last episode of this series assuming the character shown was Light Yagami, and assuming no matter what he cannot be sent to "heaven or hell" or reincarnated or sent to the void Like with Decim using the lowest floor to judge Chiyuki by claiming the button she possesses will bring her back to life at the cost of another. There are several things we can take from this. The button he gave doesn't do what he says it does. This means the Arbiters can lie and by any means extract the darkness of a persons soul. So even if the Girl chose the Light character to be sent to the void it doesn't mean he was. It was just a judging tool. The second thing we can take from this is that Decim Suggests that in order to regain life you would have to take another. This holds a connection to the deathnote. The Shinigami use the death note to take the remaining years off of the person they write the name of and add it to their own life span. If an already deceased being is to somehow claim that ability within the void and take the years off of another person they would in fact live again. So Chiyuki could have quite possibly come back from the dead. I also have a theory that maybe Those who's lives are taken by the Shinigami because they cannot leave the Limbo state have to remain there. It wouldn't be too far fetched to say that maybe they would become Arbiters. Not to say that anyone who ever died from the notebooks would become arbiters but simply people who had their names written by Shinigami. and the rest become dummies forever forgotten. Maybe the Dummies collected on the lowest floor was simply Light Yagamis kill count. Now hear me out here. Light Yagami had a lot of people killed. I'm including every death caused by a human through the power of the Notebooks as Lights doing throughout the entire series whether direct or not just to make this easier. In Death Parade Only humans who stay within what I would now call Limbo turn to dummies and so do those who pass onto the the void. On the lowest floor there would not be enough dummies within that room to account for everyone who has ever passed onto the void. Now even if we assume that most of the dummies could be reused as maybe suggested in the last episode of Death Parade there still wouldn't be enough in that room to accommodate all the souls being judged considering it suggested there were 7000 deaths per hour to be judged. I believe When it says in the death note you will end up in MU (Nothingness) It is referring to The setting of Death Parade or "Limbo: an uncertain period of awaiting a decision or resolution; an intermediate state or condition." So there is a chance in my opinion that Yes Light Yagami could become an Arbiter of Death due to his circumstances and who knows maybe his God Complex Character trys to take over Limbo itself and overthrow Oculus (The old guy with a flower for hair goatee) and take the world from below. Because Lets be honest He probably could. My Theory probably has a few flaws but it's cool to think about. Who knows Maybe Death Parade season 2 is a sequel to Death Note BECAUSE HONESTLY THE END OF DEATH NOTE WAS WAY TOO FUCKING FORCED. Light Yagami Was out of Character and would have never made such petty mistakes and never have shown such inpatients without some sort of plan that delves into Limbo to better his chances. Who knows!
It's cool to think about really it is. And I doubt he's in that place because he could be a Shinigami but everything you said was correct someone seems to have done their homework you deserve a potato chip.
Earlier in the series it's stated the number of deaths were increasing for some reason this could be due to Light getting the notebook, Ryuk stated that writing in the book will automatically send the user to Mu (nothingness) after he dies, this man who resembles Light doesn't get a game so he can be judged Ginti is automatically ready to send him to the void (nothingness), Ginti says that "people seem to forget that they die until the time comes then they start clinging to life , I can't remember if it was in the anime but in the manga Light was very confident until his time of death came then he started to panic and cry out for someone to save him and that he wasn't ready to die. Hope that was good enough despite the lack of punctuation marks.
Michael Villa I see. That does seem convenient but what of the cities, locations and situations. Do any buildings in certain backgrounds resemble the city death note mainly took place in?
+theboomandbang1 well death parade doesn't really take place in the earth world it's more like limbo but you do get to see a little bit of the cities in flashbacks and they didn't really resemble the city in death note to me, I guess you can just say that's due to the people living in different locations
