I've keep up with his radio interviews and the panel's and about in season 3 he was so depressed and when the manga was coming to an ended he was so distraught, he called Isayma in tears asking if that really the ending. Isayma said yes. His a manga reader and he tells his other coworkers he won't spoil the ending but his so heart broken.
