@@top_shott9917 it’s not my rig, I’m helping with the build, I’m doing my own GTR-x for next year (the new 300). Plan is wife takes that over in a couple years and I’m going rxp. That said, it’s stage 4+. It’s got built head, riva charger, bov, fizzle cooler, power filter, intake upgrade, riva water box, exhaust, impeller running a 9200 tune. I honestly wouldn’t advise that level unless you’re racing. Costly and parts get consumed cause stress. Myself I’ll aim for mid 80s. I’ll do head work but not tuning it to 9000+ rpm.
I rode a waverunner that did 90 Miles an hour and had a riva race yamaha stand up ski that did 75 and that speed is insane on the water. So much fun. Y'all stay safe.
I did 70 on a jet ski a few years back. It’s scary AF. I clocked mine at 45 the other day. Fast enough for me! These skis on the other hand are insane!
I disagree, everyone knows into the wind on light raspberry ripple unsticks the hull for proper speed. Water like this will slow you down multiple miles per hour and really hurts acceleration.
I do love America i do but just saying They always say number 1 vehicle brand reliability Toyota. Best outboard brands Suzuki and Yamaha. Best video game console as in "Most Reliable" Sony Playstation. Motorcycles 🤷🏽♂️ exactly. ALLL JAPANESE. YAMAHA 👌... Its proof not opinion all facts.
That 10 year old 260 and 7 year old 300 SeaDoo's aren't doing too bad for their age. The NEW Yamaha kept up pretty well with the older SeaDoos. BTW, all 3 skis were modded. A simple look at the clocked speed on the screen tells you that. Stock is limited to 67mph.
20 years ago I would tell you hands down buy a Yamaha. Now they are all pissed poor made. Yamaha has hull issues, seadoo likes to make their hulls for several model out of recycled plastic so that is crap for sure and seadoo its electronics has more issues. Yamaha their electronics are great but their engines aren't what they used to be. Change the oil filter regulary since they rot away on the underside that you can't see. They all got issues. I got an 1996 Xp two stroke that still runs great. Did the engine twice and still hits the water. My Kawasaki Ultra 150 also runs strong as is my SXR 800.
You would have to install a camera on the back facing backwards if you would be racing with them on Kawasaki Ultra 310 LX-S and would get an amazing footage of everyone 😂
I’m 14 and kinda smaller and my uncle has a jet ski that clocks 71 and i take my friends on it and i have a jet ski that goes 45 and they want that one while I’m going 70 on my uncles and i love it while everyone is saying there to scare
Considering the kawi 160 lx goes 67 stock I think there’s a reason the 310 wasn’t in this race😂, also never had an issue with my kawi it’s been very reliable
You had your stance all wrong. You have to tuck your nuts behind the back of your thighs and squeeze them as tight as possible. (Profession jetskiers call it the “goat”) you’ll blow them out of the water, trust me.
When you run modded seadoos against a stock 1800 yes they are faster. Stock to stock a yamaha gets the win, put the same mods on the yamaha and it'll embarrass the seadoos. Also, those seadoos need a new supercharger every 80 hrs and a possible engine rebuild at 100. That yamaha won't need to be touched for years.
I owned a 2021 rxt300 and a 2015 gtr before that. The superchargers definitely do not need a rebuild after 80 hours lol. I traded my 215 off with 200 hours and had zero issue. On my lake stock to stock my 300 would take the 1800 every time now there was a man with a speed control override and cold air on his 1800 and he smoked me so there is that.
@@erinericsson nah he saw the yama off first and thought it won. Just like a buddy of mine when his street racing other guys. He decides where the finish line is🤦🏻♂️
@@erinericsson just because you’re infront doesn’t mean you get to decide where the finish line is. The yamaha pulled off first but lost. Wait til the race is finished is what I’m saying. And he didn’t mean reliability wise. Be real now
I can get my Kawasaki 160stx to 71-73 but that’s pushing it on that machine but still plenty fast enough for me on the water and not bad for 160hp machine
@@Motoman313 yeah ok little bunny 🐰 carm down. You know I’m right. If you had a choice you would be out in the surf. It’s fun for a couple of hours. But dude 🫃
Yea fun for some they say no speed ha! I pick flowers faster than that and then some. Me and surf go hand and hand. Last year we did 4’ chops with 92 rokat at 7k rpms. Had men looking from all over
