@@AliceinDisneyWorld1125 I mean, maybe they just weren't screwed over by Bethesda, bought the game for super cheap knowing how busted it was. Or they're just enjoying the hilarious bugs.
@@MasterCharlie104 Probably because a lot of the publishers end up being the guy that destroy potentially good games. Devs are also probably annoyed at some of their final products as well.
Possibly not. If you're familiar with his Let's Drown Out videos you'll know he reacts to fans the same way one would react when they find a rat or a cockroach in their house.
He starts saying nice things about Lego starwars. Realizes he is being too positive "gotta say something bitter, cant end this segment on a positive note".
Can you imagine how awesome it would be to be so jaded, that you've just experienced everything and been privileged enough to do so, and still retain such a great sense of humor, love some Yahtzee
"i dotn even know what this is, i think it means im taking two telephone calls" Ah yahtzee, escapist sending you on this journey to spoil your job in the next few months and years to come has been delightful
He's probably refraining from his typical brand of condescension coupled with acerbic witticisms since he's actually on the show room floor. That and he's speaking off the cuff rather than writing a review beforehand.
Maybe he’s saving those swings to create content as soon as E3 is over. He does look like he’s trying to ride it out though. You can see it in his eyes. Poor guy.
@@BrianAnderson150 Well, remember, the routine Yahtzee does for ZP is a persona. This is probably kinda more genuine. Well, sorta. He's also being nicer out of courtesy as well, so you have to factor that in.
@@THB192 You're exactly right. Being nicer out of courtesy is what I was attempting to convey when I suggested that one reason for the noticeable difference in tone was due to his actually being on the show room floor of the venue itself. Well said!
I LOL’ed when I saw the Ubisoft logo imaging Yahtzee attacking it with all his might screaming hysterically “you ruined sandboxes you bastards you bastards you bastards !!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The one thing I'm never prepared for. RU-vidrs who's videos don't have what they look like in them and then after so many years you finally have a face to put with the voice and you just don't feel ready for it
Really want to see more on John Romeo's new game. Sounds like someone had a really good time playing CK2 and Xcom then watched some old gangster films. Sounds very interesting.
It's his wife's work and she worked on Jagged Alliance which was an xcom game, I think. There is experience in working with xcom's tactical layer. The strategy layer is what's important and that's what turned me off from Valk since there is no strat layer. It's all linear. I've seen snippets of the strat layer and my ideas of how it works may or may not coincide with those of Brenda but we will have to wait like 10 months for it. Hopefully paradox doesn't bombard us with small overpriced dlcs that add things that were supposed to be in the game.
The mafia reminds me of a board game me and some friends used to play called Rubout, where you’re a mobster, take territories, hire goons, kill the other monsters.
No offense to him but I feel if I interacted with him more than an afternoon I'd end up hating the world even more than I already do 😂. But no I really like his sense of humor most of the time, especially his unique analogies. That and I like how he also still strives to find great games despite the many disappointments he endures along the way.
Equal parts entertained and low expectation, Yahtzee's giving us more honest reviews and glimpses for future 2019 videos. I expect heavy contenders for the Bland Games List.
Nice seeing a bit more in depth coverage of Empire of Sin. From what I've heard and seen, most people didn't pay any mind to it when it showed up in the direct. Meanwhile, I was like, "XCOM turn based combat in the prohabition era? Yes please!"
All the friendly, lively and 'cool' stock music during the non-speaking footage seems so un-Yahtzee-ish. I feel like he'd leave the audio as it was so we can hear a cacophony of extremely loud music, noises and talking jarring from clip to clip to illustrate the nightmarish, crowded atmosphere
Nice to finally see someone going round E3 actually expressing their honest thoughts and not bending over backwards to the corprate overlords. I used to be a huge fan of Smosh Games back in the day (don't judge me I was still a teenager then) and there was nothing more sickening than watching those guys chug down on corporate cock acting like everything they've seen is amazing and there's nothing wrong with E3 or the video game industry in general.
For some reason Yahtzee's tone of voice reminds me of his "Judging by the Cover" series. He's got that same disinterested/vaguely amused tone. All that's missing is the classical music.
The hand gesture means "Island Style" here in South Africa, Yahtzee and if you stick out your middle fingers as well it modifies it to "Get the fuck off my island".
The reason he stressed Brenda Romero is because Sir-Tech made Jagged Alliance, which was the original "your guys have distinct personalities" strategy game.
OMG I wish I was their to shake your hand, tell you hi what's up, and say my favorite episode of your game reviews was the one on bioshock 2, and how I hated it and had some revision ideas for the story and game mechanics and how my friends thought it was okay when i thought it was garbage.
