Another great video, thank you. When you refer to Pete's boat having the opening on the tracks at the back, does he also have a titan x? Not sure if you've ever mentioned it or I missed it. Seems like they're making small modifications as the kayak gets more feedback like the new lower back seat and the notched mounting plate for the xi3 now being more 'hand' friendly so perhaps he just has a version that has already seen that modification.
Great video as usual. I won’t have a motor for the time being so probably won’t be doing the lights but still good to know. A side question, what tackle box do you use which slides on the side of the kayak? Is it the Plano 3600?
I’ve watched and enjoyed most of your Titan x build videos but don’t recall any mention of upgrading the rudder control handle (Berley Pro?) or the rudder itself. Is that in the plans? Have you been on the water yet and able to evaluate it? Thanks.
It is in the plans. But it is not something we are trying to do right away. I do really like berelypros rudder upgrade for the Titan x that just came out. But we want to hold off and go on a few test runs before we start upgrading steering components. Thanks for the comment
@@UntamedOutdoorsmen From what you may have researched, does BP make the nice handle upgrade and Boonedox makes the replacement rudder? Or is BP coming out with a rudder also. I just picked up my 12.5 Titan x and am not in a big hurry. Enjoying your well-presented videos!
BerleyPro does make the handle and they have always made a rudder. However the BooneDox rudder is the more desirable upgrade for many people. I don’t believe BooneDox has made a rudder for the Titan x yet. The betleypro rudder is still a nice upgrade
The installation is pretty clean. Has anyone installed them with the 1/2" hole opposite of how you did it? That would keep all that extra wire off the hatch lid?
I’m impressed how well you guys right up a kayak I’ve learned so much from watching each video and can’t wait to see this out on the water catching some biggins!! Take care God bless!
