On the image, Amon looks like hes going to take off his glasses, but in reality, hes about to press the button that will kill your entire party instantly.
The fact that it's such a slower low key song REALLY works because every other song is so upbeat and bombastic. This lets you know you're not in for a fight, but a war
@enemystand2981 Like the other comment said about chess, and the other one about having to plan your moves carefully or atleast expect half of your health to be gone. This isn't some reckless battle that you could rush Amon down, it's a literal fuckin war between two great opponents.
Pro tip : - Equip courage pendant on Kasuga and your healer to prevent them affected by fear from malicious grin - When Amon activate beast mode. he will pull his laser attack in 3 or 4 turns. Summon poundmates Mr. Masochist to give your entire party super armor to tank his attack - Also use auto revive on Kasuga just in case
This theme when going against Amon in Ex-hard really fits. Amon in EX-hard is level 99. He summons Kiryu level 99, Majima level 95and Saejima level 95 on half health. The summons can do their own strong AOE poundmates attack when low health. Amon Satelite laser is the scariest in Ex-hard, doing over 2000 damage depending on your resistance usually garantee a 1 Shot Kill attack and even if u survive, you getting paralze effect is pretty high. So Ichiban needs a self revive before amon uses that move. Oh in case people ask, Kiryu weakness is Cold, Majima weak against Fire, and Saejima is weak against electric.
Heh, it has the usual Amon leitmotif, but it's like... quieter than usual. Probably because Amon has yet to reveal himself as an actual menace to Ichiban and friends
Not to mention, he’s not the same as Jo or the others. Jo was practically obsessed with killing Kiryu, so Shin is gonna be different than how Jo acted.
@@seebarino It's evident when you redo the final millennium Tower and you just find Shin sitting there eating food, and is hesitant and surprised when you challenge him. When you beat him he acts somewhat uncaring as well, showing he's not Jo. I prefer Shin
I love how this theme's version is slow paced and consistent instead of the traditional loud and upbeat version. It helps you to think your next move. On the true final millennium tower, it takes me usually 15-30secs before taking a move as every enemy turn could be fatal. What an awesome experience this battle is.
Dude at this point in Yakuza 8 with Kiryu being one of the protagonists hes gotta just be like "have yall beaten like, fucking anybody since the 80's?"
This sounds so badass. It almost sounds like a slightly faster paced version of “The Day the World Went Away” by NIN with that dirty ass riff at the beginning.
For those talking about Legend difficulty. The difficulty in the final and true final are fixed. Its the same level of difficulty no matter what difficulty you set it to. In other words, your set difficulty has no factor on the final and true final. I know this as I’ve beaten this tower with every single job and it was my first playthrough so it was on normal and this dungeon is still punishing on normal. Normal, Hard, legend, makes no difference. Putting it on legend doesn’t make it anymore difficult than it already is. What legend does do however is make the rest of the game like the true final. Where all enemies are tanky and deal a ton of damage. If anything this dungeon prepares you for legend difficulty.
What's funnier is that Kiryu fought SO Amon in 0 and JO Amon in 1/Kiwami. This is SHIN Amon, who you fight as Yagami in Judgement and as Ichiban in LAD. This is one of the weaker Amon's xD
@@bronjamethebawnbame8575 yeah Shin is pretty weak. He gets shit on by Juzo in LJ and Joryu fights Gai Amon in Gaiden and surprisingly uses the old DoD moveset in the dragon engine, I thought I'd never see it return.
@@bronjamethebawnbame8575to be fair, Ichibans crew is a lot weaker than Kiryu individually, but they’re still a force to be reckoned with. They beat the same Amon member TWICE in one game.
Nothing bad, but that's what I find strange about him. No malice nor hate, he's actually kind and fights just to fight. He carries the clan's name and title, but that's it. It's weird, personally.
@@Quickdrawingartist Amon clan has changed since Y6. It's not the old Jo Amon leading the clan anymore, since he've joined Kiryu 's side. Shin Amon fought like a fighter than an assassin. And this is only a test to see if Ichi's worthy, so he wouldn't have gone all out.
The slower beat is so fitting for the turn based style because, just like the fight, it sounds more like a decisive battle of wits rather then a chaotic hand to hand challenge
I think it more meaning Shin Amom summon a certain yakuza dead in Millenium Tower. The one who was the closest friend of Kiryu. The one who killed the chairman Sohei Dojima for desires of power leaving Tojo clan into a chaos reflected in many years later. The one who framed his only friend Kiryu for the same reason of killing Sohei, power of being the 4th chairmam of Tojo clan. The one who his last fight was in Millenium Tower itselft. And its okay, Shin summom Kiryu, Majima and Saejima, but at least summon the one who really adds more meaning battling there: Akira Nishikiyama.
You may have been able to best the dragon, the mad dog, the slayer of 18, the Tokyo governor, the ever changing assassin, and the tower of legends I created *but here’s a fact, you won’t be besting me, you’ll be surviving me*
Disappointed in this Amon, beat him in 5 minutes easily whilst being the same level as him. New combat just isn’t as intense or stimulating as old combat.
say that again when you get your ass kicked by the true final millennium tower lmao, the first version of final millennium tower is a tiny fraction of the real amon fight.
