@@SecondOmega yes I’m aware of the murder that happened in the area of it’s pre construction that was framed on Kiryu. But in Tekken 6-7 they also have two towers named after it presumably as an Easter egg
I think it's a refernce to FFVII, cos Ichiban loves JRPG'S like Dragon quest and thats made by square enix, just like those 2 games. And he wants to be the Hero of his stroy. Fucking love this game
Honestly this game is what I was hoping ff7 remake would be. Open world midgar with shinra tower as final dungeon. That would have justified a remake taking place in only midgar. But no...
@@Ramencafe That must have taken ages. You only get 3 million per boardroom meeting. IIRC the tower you can get about 70 million each run with nouveau riche crowns and coffee
I feel like what makes a “song” as great as this is knowing the history that lead up to it like Ichiban and the gang all worked together to get to here.
Today I've finished the first ride, took me 80 hours and I'm sad for finishing it. This is my first yakuza and I love this game, ichiban have a great personality, history, side quest and this song in the tower truly epic. The game of the year for me.
@@tensazs3843 it really needs some preps and a lot of grinding. I can understand everyone who doesn't want to invest that amount of time but I had my fair share of fun :)
You know what'd be fun. Turning The Millenium Tower into an infinite randomized Dungeon like Tartarus or Mementos from Persona. Maybe for a Persona x Yakuza game...
I really am debating on trying to do a 2nd win on True tower just because the music and Amon-EX was such a fun fight! I'm pretty happy to that I managed to beat him with the team I liked the most. Nanba's debuffs and Saekos healing were an absolute MUST to enable people for surviving and Sacrifice stones were a godsend for the lazer!
@@Camm_Cash That's fair I personally don't mind a grind and liked the challenge of the fight, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing if there will be one in Yakuza 8 and if there is how they handle it
End of the line, my friend. Be prepared when heading to the Millennium Tower, as once you enter, you will be locked into the endgame, with no more chances to do substories, buy items, or grind until the postgame. You will find no opportunities to save in the tower, so if you die and don't continue, or you turn the game off, you'll have to start the climb over from the beginning.
I kinda wanna do it again. It feels so incredibly good to win and kick everyone's ass. Actually, now that I think about it, I ran from the first two robots on my winning attempt. I think I'll play through the tower again just to beat those two :P
I've just beaten the regular millennium tower. But just before I was about to celebrate, I was shocked to see I have to beat the final millennium tower. Man ai really need to level up🤣
This game is fantastic, as a long Final Fantasy fan I can say this game is 10x better than FF7R. The grind, the battle system, the jobs, the "summons", the main story, the substories, the exploration, the conversation between the characters, the freedom, every RPG aspect fits fantastically well for the real world aspect of the game. I would NEVER had imagined to play as a Homeless in a rpg and I was in love. This game is my personal GOTY.
Say it louder. I have a hate boner for tetsuya nomura but deadass 7r was just "copy paste dialogue but its now voiced" but also here's total tangents cause we're an RPG and it's just half baked as hell.
