@@FungalFury Maybe they should’ve paid a-tension to how many years this boss fight deleted off my lifespan. That final fight on the helicopter pad destroyed my spirit. I’ve been a husk since then.
@@SaintMarianne I actually ended up first trying jingu for my first playthrough, but mainly cause I played like a total bitch and just spammed tiger drop/rush quicksteps in order to gain heat and blasted enemies with dragon heat moves. Also just fyi ps2 jingu is DRAMATICALLY easier, try the ps2 original for yourself sometime. Even if it's a general downgrade the aesthetic is fun and the dub makes for a lot of funny moments.
You silly billy. Jingu’s weakness was always knives, not bullets. That’s why Nishiki stabbed him at the end instead of shooting him. Plus the bomb but what did it was definitely the knife on its own.
I tried that on my first playthrough since I didn't level up much when I threw myself into that boss fight. I'll admit, it took me at least 10 tries to attempt destroying him from afar.
It's a heat action mod called essence remade It imports varies heat actions from different Yakuza games from Yakuza 2/3/5/6...ECT and ishin spin-off u can download it from www.nexusmods.com/yakuzakiwami/mods/29
That's a heat action mod it replaces the generic knife action with shinadas knife heat action from Yakuza 5 the mode changes all the heat actions to new ones

@Joe91169 no its not a mod ,you get the knife after the last battle with majima after you fully level up dragon of dojima style and finish all majima everywhere system stuff
@@arek2597 I haven't yet. I'm on Kiwami 2 but want to wait until my Japanese is better before I finish it and play 3 onwards. I'm guessing I have plenty of bullshit fights ahead of me, right?
I think the jingu fight was the most annoying bullshit ive ever had to do in a video game, i didnt know how to actually use weapons yet, dont know if that makes it any easier, i probably fought him for 30 straight minutes or more, just using rush to not get shot and do so little fuckin damage since you cant do any damage without getting your ass blasted with any other style
i have to agree with you on this one jingu one of the most annoying boss battles in video games and no using weapons won't make it any easier the funny thing is it's not hard at all in the original ps2 yakuza ,what makes it hard in this game is the kiryu holding his stomach after getting stabbed/shot animation and the new moveset they gave jingu which makes him run away the whole fight
@@frostyy136 i remember when his fucking guards got off the ground the first time i was angrier than i think if ever been at a video game, not to mention i didnt figure out how to do the heat move while bosses heal until new game +
I was livid. Even after getting kinda good at Yakuza, I still have to resort to some cheap stuff and I hate whenever a Yakuza boss fight makes me do that. It just feels like I'm being punished for experimenting
