Nice one.. but don't you think the down one may obstruct the new tubers from the top? I prefer the first video where the bottom of the sacks are cut off. By doing that, the new yams will extend deeper into the soil.

You have a point with the extension but as for obstruction, it is very unlikely. The new tubers develope around the side will the others have room to develop too. Interestingly, the bag has plenty room to accommodate all tubers if properly irrigated
