In this video, I explain in details how I planted yam head and yam minisets in sack farming and the results after 6months.
The formula for the manure application is 3:2.
i.e. if you're using 3 headpans of soil, use 2 headpans of decomposed poultry waste.

I did sack palnting of yam,i did not put it in any chemical,only air dry ... I also did not cut as big as the head you cut...only cut like 2.5" and i got a good result

You should have added manure to the soil for bigger sizes for the minisett. You did well sir, however.

Please sir, The soil I'm using is not that dark. But i dug it from the earth. It looks like clay but it not clay. Can i use it to plant Yam and add manure will it germinate.
