Yamaha 2024 SxS release YXZ 1000R and Wolverine X2 1000 

If you end up getting a YXZ, please do a review on it. I actually ended up landing on the Rmax after watching your videos.

Thanks for the feedback! I've always wanted to try a YXZ but with the new 6 speed and lower 1st gear I'm running out of reasons not to give it a try.

I think first gear being too high has been the problem when it comes to rock crawling that car. People say you need to rev it too high to get going. I would think the lower first gear would fix that. I’d love to try that car with the turbo and 32” Zillas. Maybe when I leave Southern Utah next spring I’ll have 2 cars. Who knows. On a sad note, I see that the new Rmax has the TRX still. The Apple app store has stopped supporting TRX. I learned this when I somehow smashed my phone and had to get a replacement. I can no longer use my phone to plan rides.

I haven't driven the X2 1000 yet but will be testing one out shortly. I can tell you that I probably would be just as happy if they made an X4 1000 for the cost savings. You're not lacking power, you're GAINING maneuverability and 62" compliance with the Forest Circus, and I would miss my iQS but could buy some aftermarket shocks that would make me almost as happy.
