I was huge fan of Yamaha f1 engines. Believe or not I had a poster of the Yamaha OX11 v10 f1 engine on my bedroom wall.

That's so cool! The Yamaha OX11 from 1996/1997 was the first F1 engine of the 'new generation' of ultra lightweight engines...shame it was also not very reliable....

They have some associations with Toyota and Volvo. They made V8 engines for Volvo. The first V8 engine for the Lexus LS was a cooperation with Toyota.
