Y’all definitely were destroying that rear or front sprocket on the Suzuki. I’ve done that before with my Yamaha and it sucked. Never ride with a chain that’s too loose

By 6th gear pinned he means 1st, 2nd, 3rd twice, 4th 4th, 5th red line, 6th..

My lt250 has 6 gears

Idk why people underestimate the LT250r specifically the 3rd gen 91-92 were very fast. I had a 85 and 86 my 86 would hit 100mph easily. Had motor work and pipe gearing done of course. My opinion besides the 250 honda the Suzuki one of the best all around quads ever made.

Still havent got that rear shock repaired/replaced ? Poor Chuck was bouncing like he was on a pogo-stick.

Gearing and everything has so much to do with straight line racing these great quads. The Banshee in stock form is rated at 78 mph. Same as the TRX and LT even the LT 500. in stock form the Banshee usually gets the jump but looses steam and the 250's catch it. At the end the big Quadzilla catches and leaves the smaller bore quads. The Tacate 250 was in this race as well and had a pretty nice jump on all the bikes. I wish I still had it. It's a Dirt wheels shootout from like 86 or 87. Super cool. The 500 is a bigger heavier quad and is not 50 hp like the cr 500 or YZ. It is easily able to get a whole lot more power from it if you understand squish and tuning 2 strokes.

2 awesome machines! I really love the lt500 you had . Did you ever ride a kawisaki tecate 4? They really rip like the lt250

zip tie the clutch open if you will not be riding them much, keeps plates from sticking

I've seen stock 350 Banshees beat stock 500s before I own 3 Suzuki quads and I'll still tell you nothing is better than a Banshee
