What carburetor do you have on it?

I would suggest a jet kit and it has many options

Get rid of that junk mikuni carburetor , and buy a 28mm keihin from J & D jetting. Also remove the air box & put a clamp on k & n with a outerwear. Trust me you will regret not doing it sooner.

Awsome man, thank you for the advice. Will the 28mm fit directly right on the stock intake?

Are you sure that head is a race head bro?
@mymobilemechanic8896
@mymobilemechanic8896 6 лет назад
Matt Steinhilber I was under the assumption it was decked and rechambered

My Mobile Mechanic gotcha. Only reason I asked is because stock heads have different cooling fin configurations than raxe heads (the fins on the topside) yours are an indicator of a stock top. Good possibility of a rechamber though, or it wasn't and it was just a cleaned up stock top. Easy to tell if it was though

I cant say it is a "race head" its a stock head that was cut down to increase compression. Im going to port out the exhaust this winter and see where it gets me.
