I got the exact same bike, definitely a performance bike and love the speed and handling. I do love the mid-size baggers to, thanks for your video and presentation
Hey Brother, it is nice to see your FJR1300. I like sport tourers so maybe I will have to find one and take it for a ride. They are priced right compared to other sport tourers... Nice, very nice. I have always wondered what it would be like to be switching back and forth on road side riding. In the USA, you ride on the right and in Australia, you ride on the left side. Cars have their steering wheels towards the high speed lane, but motorcycles don't so someone could get easily confused with which is which on a motorcycle... Glad to see you went to Yosemite on your FJR, just be careful of that ice brother.
its insane/ludicrous switching sides from US and Australia !!!! cant do it anymore :) it was my first time riding in snow - i was the only motorcycler there :) will bring more footage - enjoy your weekend
Brother, that is a sweet bike. I've heard great things about the FJR - smooth, fast and rock solid on the highway, and doesn't weigh 800+ pounds. Looks like your dash said 9 degrees? Wow! Look forward doing a ride again soon - I'm thinking Big Sur or thereabouts.
Last year I seriously considered the FJR but then opted for the BMW 1200RT. The FJR is a little more sport and the BMW a little more long distance comfort. The boxer engine gives it a low center of gravity and its very easy to maneuver at low speeds.
@tomoth77 I'm in your exact position. About to pull the trigger on either the fjr or the rt. My gut tells me the rt is a little more comfortable. Haven't done long miles on the fjr so I'm torn
