Hi, I could not agree more with your assessment, that is for sure. I have been preheating mine in Alaska with a German Steinel Heatgun. Works great. Hot air blowing big time. If the generator to do this is not big enough a "Hornet Heater" for airplanes works great also, 450W only. Best Regards, From Alaska.
Another great video on the VK Pro. Glad I found your channel. In a future video can you explain how to get the air box off properly. This spring I want to clean up the engine bay good, and I’ve never had my air box off. Thanks again for the great DIY videos.
So basically it does help. But it's incredibly inefficient because of the placement of the heater. If its -35 or -40 and its plugged in for 4 or 5 hours..or better yet overnight...it will startup no problem. But dont think plugging it in 30 min before starting will help. It wont.
