Yep should work no problem, just connect the 2 wires up to their matching wires and should be all good 👍

@@lennycann3334 cheers Lenny, sorry for the bombardment of questions but what oil do you use? A specific Marine 2 stroke or can I get away with motorbike 2 stroke?

@@andrewjackson3828 i think you can run these on 100 to 1 but dont quote me on it, i just used 50 to 1 because its what i have and generally its what most outboards use. 50 to 1 wont hurt it if its built for 100 to 1 if anything it could be better as its more lubricated. I used normal motorcycle 2 stroke oil but you can use proper marine oil. Marine 2 stroke oil burns at lower temps than normal 2 stroke oil (because marine engines are mostly water cooled so run quite a lot cooler than normal air cooled 2 strokes) they say you should use marine because it is better for the environment (oil is burnt rather than dumped int the water). Over all you can use marine oil but i generally use normal oil because its cheaper it is slightly more likely to gum up the plugs but generally it should be fine but worth taking a spare plug just in case and 50 to 1 will work fine just again there is a slight chance it could gum up the plug but not that likely but only use 100 to 1 if it says in the manual that you can. Id say for a more high performance engine having the exact oil and mix is more important (never run less oil than the manufacturer says though!) But these engines arent particularly high performance so it should be all good. Hope this helps 👍

I sold this one for about £280 but it was in very good condition and had just been rebuilt. Id say depending on condition £200-£250 is a fair price because as long as it is kept in good condition being a yamaha it is worth good money.

Just the standard gap for what plug which was in there I believe, should be able to find that on Google 😁

It was actually quite good! Might not show as well on camera, but these engine's telltales are just linked to the exhaust so only a slight percentage of water comes out of the tell tale just to say if the engine is pumping.
