At 6:25 the way you move the parts over is the same “Exchange” method you used for the acoustic piano for Part 1 Part 2, but you have to do it by first selecting the existing Part (5 or 6).

You play lovely bro. I like the way you play some of those good old school sounds. I got the Modx 61 key but I'm gonna traid it out for the 88 keys.

Hey thanks man. And for the record, Bruce does not have a great voice. You're a better singer. He just has gruff in his voice which can convey a feeling/passion. So if that's great singing to you, then just yell a little bit. Lol.

Good video. I wish the touch screen was a little more responsive or accurate i should say. Seems like i have to touch to the right a little bit on the screen of where i actually intend to. Or maybe it's just me.

Just got a MODX6 and your video was so understandable. I still have to figure out how to make assignments to the superknob, but now I can do so much else! This will help me for playing live, my primary interest. Thanks a bunch.

what should i do to save a live set on the keyboard permanently? coz whenever i try to store them they seem to be saved but they disappear when i turn off and on the keyboard.

Can I use the MODX as a controller too....I have so many good sounds from Native Instruments that I tend to prefer over any sounds coming from Yamaha...

Tony - this is so good. Also u hv a great voice. I am a new user of this keyboard. Can u help me with a couple things pls. I tried the same things you did in this video, but my pad sound is overpowering the piano...how do I change tht to make piano sound higher? Also, how do u connect the output to speakers? Currently I only hv one quarter inch going out to a keyboard amp...is there a better way to connect to get sounds of your quality? Any help is appreciated. Also - where can I get your patches? I wanted to tell you that I have a modx plus 8 and I notice that the piano sounds are a bit muted, but when you play the demos with the button that gives you a small sample, they sound very good. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Do I have to edit each preset? I have a P250, which is identical to the CP300, and out of the box, it sounds incredible. What could it be? Thank you. what is the difference between saving to performance and to live set?

I bought the MODX8 and can't figure out how to make my hammond xkp midi bass pedal work with it.. do you know how to hook them together? any help would be nice thanks

What patch you use for Africa

On the same page where you turn off the flashing its good to turn off the blur too.

you could just mute the bell instead of moving the volume.. or use keyboard control so it wont play

Thank you, great video. Did you notice however, that at 8:12, when you had arranged all parts as parts 1-4 the SSS symbol came up to show that this performance supports "seamless sound switch" now? So it's not just "for convenience". You did it intuitively right. 🙂

Hi, how can i permanently upload a loop or style onto modx via USB. Have tried this and i can actually play the beats when the USB is connected but i want the style to be permanently stored on the keyboard? Thanks

Side note to get more reverb you don't need to go into the edit window just click the sound and use the reverb nob to turn up reverb.
