Hi there everyone! Once again, we meet for a very, VERY special review: I've been invited by Yamaha Europe for the press launch of the brand new MT-09 2024! This machine is a proper monster, with more than 100 000 units sold since its first release in 2014. For this fourth generation, Yamaha has modified many things, and this video will cover all of them! So, embark with me on this incredible setting of Lanzarote, to discover the brand new MT-09 2024!

The more I watch the videos, the more it grows on me. I had a first gen in cadmium yellow, and I regret selling it. I may pick one of these up in the blue.

It is really a fantastic machine, and even if I didn’t recommend the third generation for some reasons that bothered me like the finish or the screen, this new MT-09 is really a very good bike!! Ride safe!

Hope you enjoyed your first Yamaha press launch. It was very nice of Yamaha France to invite you. Clearly they respect your excellent motorcycle reviewing both in French and English language. I think this updated MT09 looks much better than the previous.

Mate, how do you compare this new MT-09 with the new Street Triple 765 RS in terms of engine character and chassis/suspension? I'd go for the SP version, but it's not out yet...

Having owned a couple off mt09/xsr and the newest 765 RS, The 765 is guttless compared to the CP3 motor and is not as "Hooligan" it has more power and is much more like sportbike in character the higher the revs the happier it is(765). The chassis/suspension is unbeatable though if all u wanna do is go fast in corners it´s the obvious choice. IF your looking for more off a funbike the mt09 or the xsr´s is the way to go. Suspension/chassis and allso the brakes is no where near as good as 765rs. Bout the bigger engine with the torque can´t be beat. I Do like my wheelies though so bare that in mind :D

The sheer size of the catalytic converter omg, it must sound amazing with a better exhaust

In the city it will be more like 8.2L per 100km. Of course you are not feeling the engine heat, just wait that you drive at 30km/h in traffic 😂.

My MT09 doesn't push any noticeable engine heat during city riding and I'm from the Caribbean. My R6 on the other hand used to cook my legs even during highway rides.
