The Yamaha PSR-S770 has 512 Megabyte of wave ROM (NAND flash) thereof 160 Megabyte reserved for expansion voices. The PSR-SX600 only has 100 Megabyte reserved for expansion voices, however, it has more S.Art and Mega voices. That would suggest it also has a 512 Megabyte wave ROM. It is a pity that Yamaha opted against upgrading the concert grand piano voice to S.Art on the SX600. However, it is quite understandable, because they needed a clear differentiation from the higher models of the SX-line. It would also be interesting, if the SX600 has a SWP70 tone generator chip. I will look for a service manual to check that. Because this chip is the tone generator for PSR-S770. It is conceivable that SX600 uses a higher compression, thus having a smaller physical wave ROM.
Psr sx 600 это обнавленая линейка ,psr s 650 го, psr s 775 обнавленая версия 750 это говорит о том что шина 775 го лучше и звучание более реалестичные .psr sx 600 много фишек всяких но по качеству звуку чуть уступает.
Looks like they focused more on the sound on the 600 looking at subwoofer holes I think that sounds better? Also do you know if any of these keyboards have a harmonisation feature when played with the right so for example if you play chords with left hand and a lead instrument with right hand then with harmonisation it would play two leads hence in harmony and it would play minor or major depending what you play with the left hand, I have my eye set on the 600 but this is a must have feature for me
Did not know that. It should be, as it is one of the best. And at a small price. Regardless the price, the overall sound is great! Greetings from Romania!
SX600 has a lot more features than the S775. I ordered the SX600, coming next week. Both appears to have same voices quality. I got my SX600 for two weeks now. LOVE IT, especially, at low price and lighter.
Hello, You can consider both in a low budget interval. Under 1000 EUR (under 1200 USD). Both are very good for church purposes. S775 has a bigger screen though and more expansion memory...
The best keyboard is subjective. But I can say like that: if you like to have custom voice and you need more memory you can go for S775 (290 MB). If you would like to have the best quality/price keyboard from Yamaha you chose SX600 (you have 100 MB expansion memory plus all voices from S775 and more). All have the clear studio sound from Yamaha. And both keyboards are compatible with all style formats from Yamaha. Best regards!
Hello Romanian. Excellent video. Sorry I'm interested in buying a keyboard and I can't decide if for the yamaha psr sx600 or the psr s775. Could you help me with your great opinion. Please.
Hello Luis, If you are looking for a great keyboard with last Technologies and good price, than SX600 is your keyboard. If you want more expansion memory and bigger screen, then S775 would be the one (280 MB for S775 instead of 100 MB for SX600). Both great keyboards. SX600 is the last keyboard and newest produced by Yamaha. You have all on it (inclusive compatibility with all Yamaha styles). I think that the answer would be only the money you have to pay. Wish you the best!
SX600 is a great one, with more features than the S775. Some of these features are important during live play. For example: knob to control right hand volume, knob to mute/un-mute some accompaniment instruments, UNISON feature only on this SX600. TEMPO Reset button is also an important one, allowing quick re-synchronize to singer who sing off beat (common mistake is: off by two beats for a 4/4 song). If the singer is off by 2 beat for a 4/4 song, a drum fill will also be off by 2 beat and sounds really weird. This button exists on the very first KORG-PA50 model. Yamaha finally catches up after 15 years or more.
There is just no sonic difference. Listened with good headphones. Thanks for comparison. SX600 may be the keyboard for me because I liked the keys feel of S670 more than S770.
@Pawel There is a difference (listening with Beyerdynamic DT770). S775 sounds on some voices more precise, more detailed, more airy. It's not huge diiference but clearly audible.
Well, much could be said. SX600 is newer and have much memory for the styles and some new functions that you will not find in S775 (like just updating an expansion pack without overwriting it). Now, regarding the memory for expansion (280 MB S775 vs 90 MB SX600) S775 is over the new SX. Both are compatible with all Yamaha style formats. Both very good keyboards. It is quite confusing, but I would choose the SX.
If you guys think that the bigger the number is that better the keyboard is ypure wrong even yamaha psr s750 is better than psr s900 even the psr s650 is better than s900 bte the s 900 is one of the oldest keyboards sx series is the best rigth now including genos or s975!!
Esse tipo de descontração pra nós que estamos assistindo não quer dizer nada quero quanto tem de polifonia cada um , espaço interno para sample e user isso com a apresentação de números so pelo " ouvidômetro " não funciona amigão
